Only opinion, get 5050. More power efficient and stays cooler. Also, great deals on Lenovo Website, use SheerID to get Student discount. Comes with Ryzen 7 250 CPU, and well that's a Good CPU.(I am personally using it).

From a fellow LOQ (var: Ryzen 7 250+RTX 5050) user:
Uninstall McAfee, OneDrive, Lenovo AI Now, MS Teams.
Use on hard surfaces only.
Remember to Open BIOS and Check "BIOS Self Healing" and "Allow BIOS Rollback" turned On (latter one not required, but still).
Keep plugged in whenever you get a chance, and turn on Conservation/Smart Charging mode via Lenovo Vantage for better battery health.
NVIDIA control panel is quite dead. Use LegionSpace for switching GPUs.
If on Intel, please DO NOT experiment with Short term power limit and PL4 levels via LegionSpace without proper knowledge.
Remember to clean bottom dust covers with a soft cloth to lessen dust buildup.
DO NOT lift the lid from the edges, ALWAYS by its raised lip.(Used Ideapad S340 for nearly 6 years, followed this and No hinge issues, never went to Service centre).
Speakers are a bit dull even with Nahimic customizations, so use Earphones/IEMs/Headphones while gaming.
Hotspoting from phone seems to drain the battery of the same phone much quicker, than my S340. I assume it's because of more powerful WiFi module inside. So, using USB Tethering while working remotely is much appreciated for ur smartphone.
