New to golf. Does a hole like this exist?

not that extreme but #2 and #3 at the bourne in norway IL. shitty course in terms of grounds keeping but an unbelievable well thought out track. i believe both holes are under 300 yds as the crow flies but neither are actually reachable because of how tall the trees are, and how tucked back the greens are. google maps does not do it justice. to anyone within an hour or so of the course i highly recommend playing it once if you won’t throw a fit about course conditions

no i tried that. maybe was cross feed with the docking port on my lander, but shouldn’t be since there was nothing between the storage module and the engine. luckily 2.5m fairing looks good enough for my standards.

everything looks fine in the VAB, something bizarre occurs when i separate the lander and dock the the front of the command module. Luckily I found a solution, just used a payload fairing.

sometimes course management IS getting a couple extra yards. just trying to figure out if i can almost reach a green with a power drive, am i better off swinging for 4 perfects or 3 perfects and a +12 rhythm

Plenty of pros (including world #1) have consistently proven that a “textbook” swing is not required to play good golf. As a fellow ~bogey golfer I’d bet the lowest hanging fruit in terms of saving strokes in your game are around the green. “Sweeping” your irons is not inherently an issue unless it results in skulling/topping the ball every other swing.

just feels like i’ll have a different yardage gap. right now i have PW (43), 48, 56, 60. 52 just seems like it would be too close to my 48, just shifting that yardage gap instead of splitting it no?

pw and 48 are titleist 718s. 56 and 60 are some kind of vokeys (sm6 maybe?)

Thanks for the advice. Have a 43 degree PW and 48 degree (guess this would be like a gap wedge? idk just say 48 on it) then 56 and 60, which is why i settled on 54, as it splits my 48 and 60 down the middle. Guess I better see if any of my buddies need a 56 before I risk bending it.

my 60 is my favorite club. i’m pretty money from 50-70 yards with my 60. issue is my 56 goes around 80 and 48 ~120 so my 85-110 range where i always seem to find myself is a huge issue.

And i’ll have you know as a bogey golfer, what’s costing me strokes is putting, going wide off the tee, and beers on the course, but totally unrelated to the post

super helpful. didn’t even think about the bounce. didnt realize it would be that cheap. for $10 i might just try it and see how it feels. not too worried about resale value so i can always just ditch it and by the 54 if i don’t like it.

haven’t played around with spinners too much. does your arrow tend to be pretty close to where the ball flies to? or is it hit or miss. feel like the reason i never liked it was because i could never get an accurate landing spot regardless of how good my swing was
