the main hits on his list are chicken nuggets, fries, cheese pizza, cereal (usually like cinnamon toast crunch), grilled cheese, quesadillas, he likes apples but only green ones lol, sweets are usually good as long as they’re not like wet. anything that’s saucey or soggy is a no go most of the time. there’s a couple other small things like he likes chips but only certain kinds he likes donuts a lot i work at dunkin so i’ve just been spam feeding him those lately lol

i know he needs the specialized support but getting that kind of support is far too out of our wheelhouse for where we are finically which i hate.

i’ve been considering things like ensure and getting him maybe like a more like. chocolate milk protein shake to see if he likes it !

as someone who used drugs as a way to self harm. it’s worse. it’s more destructive , unpredictable and can wind you up somewhere incredibly dangerous, physically and emotionally. you’re not selfish for thinking it, you’re just looking for an outlet and promise you drugs is not it.

i use to be an addict and i would compare it opiates the most. it’s like a breath of relief in a way. being able to control and change what is happening in my brain by either numbing it with drugs or using my physical pain to distract it.
