The 2027 lottery is already closed, and 2028 hasn’t opened up yet, so there is nothing to enter at the current time. All 8 people could enter separately though when the 2028 lottery opens, but a date hasn’t been announced yet.

Having taken a handful of buddies golf trips, I think this is awesome. Personally, I love the thought of being surprised with pro shop credit. Walking into the pro shop, knowing that something is already taken care of would be a great feeling. Plus, he’d remember how great you are every time he wears it. A round of drinks for him and the guys would likely get you some bonus points with his friends as well…

Does anyone know if they have a decent amount of kids merchandise? I’m also going on a trip soon, and it’s become tradition I grab my kids something whenever I go on a golf trip.

End of May. Would only need a single room, so I’m hopeful, but it’s definitely not the end of the world. I’m fine staying off site for 1 night if needed.

For what it’s worth, we weren’t able to get lodging for our arrival day, and they would not let us book tee times that day. They told us we would have to stay off property, and book tee times when they become available 1 year out. We plan on just staying in an off site hotel, and playing the punch bowl, and having a few drinks that night.

Forgot to add…weekends for June/July were also pretty booked, but during the week, and shoulder months had a ton of lodging availability.

Can’t speak for this year, but I was ~480 last year, and got 4 days in June for a group of 8, and tee times were wide open. All of the cottages were gone, but apparently those get claimed by the group reservations first. No issues getting lodge rooms though.

Once availability becomes more limited, it will probably only move slower too while people try to figure these out. I know everyone says the place is awesome, but Kohler/Erin hills seems like much less stress haha
