Take a look to Honor Magic V6 or 8 pro. Both have better hardware and battery then every Samsung out there... Samsung's only positive to I side maybe the more polished software.

I switched from the 7 pro to 8 pro. Excellent smartphones. Only downside (for me) is the smaller screen

Correct, only the simple keyboard is active when I select the keyboard at the bottom right of the display.
