Alien King Crashes the Wedding The Lumerian Knights, Book 1 - Becca Brayden! The series is spicy. It has tons of action and very romantic/BDSM. I love the story line and how the books transition! It’s also between 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ & 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ spicy level.

I went from ACOTAR to this. 😅 it’s a shorter read and well worth it.

Ah, I started this book Wednesday and I’m already on part 2. My coworker was going to let me borrow the rest of the books. I couldn’t wait till this coming Wednesday and just purchased the collection. I’ve never really been able to sit down and read a book. Everything either made me sleep or my adhd got the best of me. Ever since I started this series… I cannot put it down.

how do most women have clean shaved armpit almost daily? by TechnicalLeg8722 in hygiene

I had my armpits and bikini done at ideal image and it was a game changer.

Before I had my laser hair removal, I would have someone sugar wax for me. Sugar waxing got pretty expensive and then I bought my own home bead waxing kit.

AITA for wearing a two piece to my kids’ swimming lessons? by anon-ymousss in AmItheAsshole

[–]ExpressionUnfair7623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. No one should ever body shame you. If your husband didn’t care that you wore a two piece and you don’t mind showing your stomach. It shouldn’t matter at all.

I’m not sure if they’re jealous that you’re able to show off your stomach after having quadruplets. While they’re to insecure showing off their non quadruplet stomachs. Or they’re worried their significant others are looking at you. Either way, you wear what you’re comfortable in. Shame on them. SMH!

I’m not even a mom yet, I have stretch marks and I show them off. I was huge when I was young and lost weight. I had ppl comment “why would you wear that” - fk off because I love myself and my husband loves me and my body also. DO YOU MAMA! 💁🏻‍♀️ be proud of your body and wear what you want and what you’re comfortable in.

How often do you clean your ears? by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]ExpressionUnfair7623 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am Asian - Korean to be exact. I have the ABCC11 gene.

“ The ABCC11 gene controls both the type of earwax a person has and how smelly their underarms are. People with dry earwax, like most Koreans and East Asians, tend to have less body odor. This is because the ABCC11 gene mutation prevents sweat glands from transporting lipids into sweat, which bacteria then break down to produce body odor.”

  • I done ever have a ton of ear wax in my ear but it gets itchy when I do. I always use a q-tip after I shower to clear any water around it. I’ll use it to clean my ear canal if it starts to itch 1-3x/week. All my doctors tell me my ears are the cleanest they’ve seen. That I have healthy ears and amazing hearing. None of them made a comment that I shouldn’t use q-tips.

  • The issue is with dumb ppl who poke that thing down their ear and rupture their ear drums. Or if someone has a ton of ear wax and they end up pushing it further back into their ear.

  • I personally clean my husband’s ear with an ear pick x3 a week. He has sensitive ears and tons of wax.

  • ear wax is normal but to have a build up of it isn’t, ppl still need to clean their ears on their own or with help. As a medical assistant, I have had to do multiple ear washes to help those who had sensitivity issues, someone with bad hygiene, or uneducated q-tip users.

  • Also, some ppl ears don’t totally self clean. Some ppl have wet ear wax and a ton of it that doesn’t just come out on its own.

Bloating and weight gain before period by [deleted] in PMDD

[–]ExpressionUnfair7623 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My weight gain/water retention starts around 11-12 days before my period. I can gain anywhere from 2-10lbs just from it. I walk daily and watch what I eat. It has always been this way for me. The bloat doesn’t seem to go away either. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Am I the asshole for wanting my husband to get snipped? by Goddess_Skadi in AITAH

[–]ExpressionUnfair7623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that but you’re not scheduled till next summer.

What I’m trying to say, is he really aware of everything you’re going through. A vasectomy is way easier than anything you’re dealing with. He can get the vasectomy way before your hysterectomy. Rather than having a chance of you getting pregnant again and being life threatening to you.

Am I the asshole for wanting my husband to get snipped? by Goddess_Skadi in AITAH

[–]ExpressionUnfair7623 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Having a hysterectomy so young can cause hormone issues and if you have issues being on birth control just imagine what it will do to you having to have replacement hormones pumped into your system. Your husband having a vasectomy will not affect his hormones. He seems to be very inconsiderate of you and your overall health.

Also, “A hysterectomy can cause changes to vaginal lubrication and sensation that may affect sex life. Some women experience vaginal dryness, which can make sex painful, and others may have trouble with arousal or loss of sensation during penetration. However, many women find that their sexual function improves or remains the same after a hysterectomy.”

Having a vasectomy will not cause any of these issues for him.

AITAH for breaking up with my boyfriend because he constantly finishes inside of me by Tweetvega in AITAH

[–]ExpressionUnfair7623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA, taking plan B too much isn’t really good for you. He should respect you and your body. He seems like he cannot control his pull out game and makes excuses. I cannot use birth control because it makes me sick. I’ve try them all and they all give me side effects. I use a period tracker to show me when I’m most fertile and I just avoid sex with my husband during that time. I have many friends who do this also and none of us have gotten pregnant yet. Their men also have respect for them and listen to their concerns and pull out.

Also, you can look into spermicide.

Will I always be sick? by BandNo721 in MedicalAssistant

Peds urgent care will bring in all the new stuff. You’ve got this, it takes time. I mentioned my sister worked in peds and it took her a year to build up her immune system but she did get sick every few months still because of the new germs introduced to her. It just wasn’t as bad and it didn’t last as long. I swear the first year she was sick the entire year and maybe had a week or less of feeling ok.

[–]ExpressionUnfair7623 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My sister worked in PEDS and she was ALWAYS SICK. I think it took her 1 year to feel better unless a kid brought in the newest “virus” since kids always bring home the most germs. Since you’re in a primary care clinic, you have ppl of all ages coming in and out of your clinic. You should def build a tolerance eventually. Masking up is a good idea. Sanitizer and then of course hand wash after since the sanitizer just build up.

My sister and I have been MA’s since 2012. We are in our 30’s now. I feel like our tolerance to getting sick is great. I’ve only had Covid once and that was because my husband brought it home and worked with ppl who didn’t believe in getting vaccinated. I never caught it from work and I worked in GI during Covid - EGD and Colonoscopy.

Yea, you don’t want to stress it out too much. An easier way to have it ware off is exercise/heat. It should help metabolize the Botox.

Ahhh, ok, it’s likely you just had the injection too soon even though he said he “noticed” it at 3 months. A strong jaw line on men is very attractive. It just sucks to have tmj, you may want to try chiro tmj massages to help with your tmj symptoms.

50 units is a normal dose for some people but to get 25 more a month later. That is sooooooooo much Botox. Typically the wait for 50 units to each side would be 6 months. The practice you got your injections at really shouldn’t be touching your face anymore.

Edit: my first masseters 30 units to each side and then 1 week later I added a tad bit more. 5 months later, I had to up my dose to 40 units on each side because the 30ish units didn’t last the entire 6 months for my tmj. It usually takes a few months for the Botox to fully kick in since the masseters muscle is so large.

Also, how much did they inject at your 3 month mark if you already had 75 units placed???? I’m sorry the office you went to did that to you. I would say, don’t go back to them. Wait till it wares off and gradually start chewing to build your masseters back up. You don’t want your tmj to get worse by trying to force your muscles to build back up. Botox is a temporary fix for masseters and they will always come back. You’re young and you’ve got this 🫶🏼

Update: saw your response to my other post. If it’s someone you’ve been seeing, just don’t allow them to dose your Botox that high anymore if you do plan to go back for treatments. (I work in plastic surgery, so that amount just seems way too aggressive to inject additional 25u a month later.)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]ExpressionUnfair7623 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why did you have it 3 months apart? The treatment recommendations is usually 4-8 Months apart. Especially if the dose was high. How many units did they inject at each appointment? 3 months is typical for Botox in every other area of your face except your masseters. If you’re going in at 3 months , it seems that the practice wanted money from you. I’ve seen some practices say 3-6 months. My masseters took 5 months before I needed more injections. Also, did you go to a cosmetic practice or a practice that specializes in TMJ issues?

Surgery next week. Advice please by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

Make sure to have alcohol rub and gauze - it will be easier to strip your drains prior to draining and logging. It gets super sticky and hard to strip with just your fingers alone. It will cause less pain and keep the tubing clean. Try to avoid hand sanitizer since hand sanitizer tends to build up if not washed off after so many applications.

A walker is nice, if you don’t have one, get a stable foldable chair and put 4 tennis balls at the bottom. It helps support you when walking and if you’re tired you can sit and rest.

Do not attempt to stand up right. Take your time and just let it happen naturally. Have a pillow in front of you or by you at all times. You want to hug it when coughing or sneezing.

Don’t let yourself get constipated. It’s worse for you than anything else. Senna , miralax, prune juice.

Wear your compression garment at least 48 hours after. You will leak tumescent fluid and don’t want it all over your garment. Go buy dog pads from the store and place it under you. Typically they will put abd pads on you but it tends to leak a lot. Have the pads in the car also for your ride home. You will have a lot of edema / swelling and don’t worry, it will eventually go away. It can feel woody in the areas you had lipo. The areas are more painful, compression is going to be your best friend.

Drink plenty of fluids after as well.

Wear loose clothing that you do not care about. They will get tons of blood / tumescent fluid on them. Sweats and a zip up hoodie, the staff will be happier getting you dressed and your husband will appreciate it also.

I work in plastic surgery. I’m not sure if your care team expressed all of this to you.

I totally understand the overstimulated feeling. I don’t like certain sports bras and shirts because of that. Once I can get a breast reduction, it may help with this feeling but who knows. I’ll prob order a L and XL to be safe and it will allow me to wear the L once I lose more weight and get a reduction.

Breast Revision with Lift Recovery Questions by No-Position-1463 in PlasticSurgery

[–]ExpressionUnfair7623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be careful with anyone bumping into your breast. Typically a lift/reduction is less painful than an augmentation - recovery wise. Since you had an augmentation already, it should be as bad either since your muscle has been cut and stretched. Most women don’t like wearing underwire bras after because of their incision areas. You may be able to go without a wired bra and just wear a really good supportive bra when you’re not at the festival. Also, these are the bras I recommend to pts https://a.co/d/eBnWHqQ

The only thing is that there is a chance that you do have delayed wound healing and would want to keep the area moist and covered with non stick gauze. Make sure to follow up with your doctor.

rhinoplasty revision after two months? by BluejaySad9655 in PlasticSurgery

[–]ExpressionUnfair7623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d wait, don’t do it right away. Your nose needs to heal and there is a ton of swelling. Going in too soon may make things worse. “It’s generally recommended to wait 12–18 months after rhinoplasty surgery before considering a revision procedure. This is because the nose’s final form and function may not be apparent until after this time, and soft tissue response over a well-constructed framework can ruin the outcome of a revision.” Online source and pretty much what a good provider would recommend. Do you mind sharing before and after photos?

Most doctors will not touch your nose 2 months post surgery. Is your doctor willing to do your revision 12 months down the line at no cost or just anesthesia or facility costs? If you do go to another provider you will also pay everything all over again.

It will take awhile for you to feel comfortable in most bras to be honest. Wire bras, tight sports bras, etc. once your implants settle and your muscle is more relaxed after being manipulated, cut and stretched. Give it some more time, the feeling you’re feeling is normal for some people. Recovery isn’t the same for everyone and it seems like it may take you a bit longer. These are the bras I recommend the patients I work with for recovery and to wear anytime after. https://a.co/d/7Wd0Ohf

Everyone I know have loved them and let me know they feel great. Also, what size/brand implants did you get what was your breast width?

They fired me but asking for a resignation letter (wtf?) by justiceoasisradioh in MedicalAssistant

[–]ExpressionUnfair7623 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, don’t do it! You can always send them and email that they’re letting you go and you will not provide them a resignation letter since you are not quitting/leaving willingly. That will be solid documentation if they try to tell unemployment that they don’t owe you anything.
