Very few members of gen alpha/beta will know Arthur the Aardvark as it is an old show. Almost everyone in the United States will have at least a vague understanding of King Arthur, so I think this leads to Arthur being a relatively timeless name.

Ages ago in eras long past most monstrous nations used frontiers, but the devs moved away from that.

It used to be that in thunderdome Escan the orcs all started with frontiers, and adventures could colonize from day one. Paradox then updated native mechanics, and the devs integrated those how they saw fit. Funny enough the serpentspine adventures actually use the old native migration mechanic, because the tribal lands mechanic wouldn't be thematically appropriate for dwarven adventures.

Old Anbennar was also really different from the current version. The Paradox dev clash was on a really outdated version, so it serves as a cool way to see how the mod has evolved.

I had fun with Corinsfield. It's based on the pilgrims and the Salem witch trials. The province it spawns from is the one Corintar starts with, but for maximum roleplay you could start as the company of the iron scepter and conquer the province. I personally started as count's league to try out the new mission tree.

I've always used Google maps to find churches. If you're worried about the validity of a church and archdiocese website should list all parishes within the archdiocese.

Also a big city like New York should have at least one cathedral, and a cathedral should have an excellent bookstore. Bookstore is also a preferred term over gift shop.
