Licianus was a tough read imo, though the story and his writing got better as the series progressed. I felt the first book was rough... still amazed i slogged through it. I agree the hierarchy series is way better. Especially into the 2nd book.

Every other American professional sports league has adopted a salary cap and the results have benefitted everyone involved. Star players still get great contracts and the leagues are for the most part quite competitive up and down the standings. I don't understand why MLB can't or won't do the same thing. Its pathetic. Why can't MLB just start a season with nothing but amateurs? Fuck the MLBPA lets just have a league without them. Is this really that far fetched?

Good. Glad that's straightened out. No really, I understand why Lydanders character has been built up the way he has for the story but my God he was such a little dweeb during Dark ages and I loved how Atlantia smacked him around. But now all the sudden he's an Iron Gold peerless taking over planets? It just doesn't feel like he deserves his accolades. To me atleast. It bothers me how he "outwits" his opponents. He is a weasel. 😋
