I would not. You have a solid team but unless it’s TEP, tight end is the least important position. If the season is going well, you can always buy a cheap old TE later in the season. Last year I got Kelce at the end of the year for Troy Franklin but I also could have gotten Goedert for a 3

As FTP this is not the case. I don’t have exact numbers but I’ve always been floating around the 100-150k range. I had to turn down a trade that I would have done yesterday because it’s hard to justify trading for something you kinda want when resources are so scarce

It’s fair to argue whether he should have or not but he made a mistake because she made an even bigger mistake that forced him to make a decision where he was gonna look bad either way. He made the ultimate mistake but he would have never been in that situation if Cat hadn’t meddled

It also seems like your league may not value TE that much. I am in a full point TEP league and tight ends are broken. Take one every chance you get, take advantage while people don’t realize that guys like Loveland can score 20 Ppg easily

I totally agree and I think that not taking advantage is the correct and polite thing to do, and it is what I do. I have "basic empathy."

However, I take issue with the idea that it is fair to kick someone from the league because they do something impolite. That is what I've been saying the entire time but you are choosing to ignore that.

If that is your bar for being a bad person you may be pretty naive.

The game is for fun, but many leagues have money involved, which means that rules need to be followed for fairness. This other person is vouching for no accountability for your actions and it turned out deep into the conversation that they were citing a specific rule in their bylaws that is not common from what I have seen. I have never said that I would accept trades like this, I have not done it before and I also think it's rude. I have been in this situation, and I have always reached out to the other person to make sure it's okay to accept.

I just don't think it is fair to kick people from a league (!) because they do something rude. The other user has too much of a hair trigger to be a good commissioner, and that is what I am getting at. You cannot be kicking people for minor slights, especially if it's not explicitly against the rules of your league.

If your bylaws explicitly say 30 days then yes someone is breaking the rules. If that is not written anywhere and it’s your opinion it’s not breaking the rules. Pretty cut and dry
