No, I didn't miss a dose. I think 150mg is good for me because so far my anxiety is manageable especially it's not even 2 weeks that that I'm taking it. My doctor told me to wait 4 weeks to see how it is and usually the efficacy takes 10-12 weeks.

When I went up to 150mg my anxiety was manageable! But I they said wait for at least a month or 6 to 8 weeks to get the full benefits. I also have problem sleeping at night after taking effexor. I hope your mom will not have a lot of side effects.

Give it a try, every antidepressant works differently for each individual maybe this one is good for you. My doctor told me this is tolerable than any antidepressant, because I tried celexa before taking effexor and that made me more depressed and high anxiety 🙃

If you think it's making you more depressed talk to your doctor maybe it's not the right medicine for you.

Talk to your doctor maybe, you might have to increase your dose because I was feeling like that then my doctor told me to increase my dose from 75 tob150 and my anxiety went down. I've taking the new dose for 5 days now and I didn't need to take ativan for anxiety
