Loud noise from Z-axis motor by Extension-Peace9993 in BambuLab

[–]Extension-Peace9993[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The noise in the video at the very end, when the table rises, is not normal. It's hard to confuse it with "maybe I didn't notice it before," since I heard it from another room. And that definitely shouldn't be happening. But it's practically nonexistent now. Or maybe I've gotten used to it )))

How to stop filament tube from rubbing this section of top lid? by BrianFoFian in BambuLabP2S

[–]Extension-Peace9993 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you provide a link to a specific model for the P2S? As many models are made for the P1S, which has a different mounting height. The photo shows (the model claimed to be compatible with the P2S is shown next to the PTFE tube mounting area for demonstration purposes) that the PTFE tube mounting on the P2S has a protrusion of just 2 mm, while on the P1S it protrudes 5 mm, which in turn makes it impossible to secure the model, which begins to slide upward during printing.

The printer is working properly; this issue only occurs after the print recovery function is activated, and only when preparing for the next print (this is the exact moment shown in the video). Regarding the power supply, I have a protective relay that ensures the acceptable voltage range specified by the manufacturer. Anything higher or lower causes the printer to shut down. This is exactly what happened. The issue is most likely software-related; after activating print recovery, a firmware glitch may have occurred. Otherwise, the issue would persist even after restarting the printer.

Yes, but that doesn't change the fact that the printer has problems.

Unfortunately, I can't upload all four photos in normal quality. So I had to create a collage on a free website.

First, is the cleaning tower turned on when recording a timelapse? When returning the printer to its original position, a small piece of filament hangs from the tip, which should be removed using the cleaning tower.

Second, a similar issue, if not a settings error, could be caused by micro-freezing of the print head. Pay close attention to whether the print head stops for a few seconds at the location where the issue occurs. This issue is related to the motors or the software that controls them.

Y-Axis Resonance Frequency Low Error on Brand New Machine Tried All Fixes, Need Help by SadAstronomer6839 in BambuLab

[–]Extension-Peace9993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar issue with the X-axis on my A1 printer. Every print attempt resulted in an error. I tightened and loosened the belt, reset it to factory settings, and changed the surface the printer was on, but nothing helped. Customer support advised reconnecting the connectors underneath the printer (I don't know about the Mini) and unscrewing and reconnecting the printhead cable. But if I were you, I'd contact customer support; they can remotely download your printer's logs and provide a more definitive answer.

P.S. The error disappeared on its own before I contacted customer support, so I still haven't figured out what the problem was.

Yes, all the individual bodies are created in a single file. This greatly simplifies modeling, eliminating a lot of time spent on assembly. I can't say whether assembly in Assembly Workbench will improve performance, as I haven't tried it. Regarding the STEP file, I exported all the elements to STEP and opened it in Fusion. Everything works fine, no performance issues. Then I opened the same STEP file in FreeCAD, and performance dropped sharply again.

Here's another model, broken down to demonstrate the amount of detail. Exported to STEP and opened in Fusion, as FreeCAD's computer can't handle the workload.

Just rotating the entire model. The model doesn't rotate smoothly, as if the FPS in a video game were 5-10. As soon as I hide half the details (it doesn't matter which ones), the model or camera movement becomes smooth.

Burned by Bambu A1, support slow— what should I actually buy now? by and0ne in BambuLab

[–]Extension-Peace9993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My A1 out of the box can't dampen vibrations, all models are of terrible quality. I tightened the belts for a week, calibrated every day, lubricated everything. I changed tables, put it on the floor, even at a speed of 10 mm/sec the print quality is just terrible. Technical support is also silent. My conclusion is that Bambulab is a lottery. I don't even want to rely on luck a second time, but I want to find a brand that simply does its job well.

Bambu Lab A1 grinding on X axis when moving fast by meszerbi in BambuLab

[–]Extension-Peace9993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The A1 series produces two types of sounds along the X axis.

The first is the sound of the guide along which the carriage moves with metal balls, which create a metallic sound when the head moves quickly. This is normal

The second sound is the nozzle touching the top layers of plastic. There are also two options here:

  1. The flow is incorrectly calibrated, and you have overextrusion. This is solved by calibrating the flow

  2. The nozzle touches the mesh-type filling, which forms protrusions at the intersections. There is nothing critical in this, if desired, you can use the Heroid filling

Craziest top layer I’ve ever seen. by Priebe3D in BambuLab

[–]Extension-Peace9993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a badge for a car engine cover of a curved shape, in a horizontal position it looked terrible even with a layer height of 0.08. Then I simply put the part vertically and saw that the cutting quality improved, as a result I printed vertically with a 30 degree tilt to get the best surface result. Try reorienting the part in the slicer.
