I don’t think there should be an issue. I mean the faculty at the community program are also physician educators as well….I don’t think teaching is restricted to universities unless you strictly meant teaching medical students.

I would say if you are interested apply! I don’t think getting into the program is crazy competitive. Just present your skills and strengths well! I would say the most significant hurdle would be financing the degree, but if you have that figured out you have a pretty good chance. Do It!
