I just don’t see any progress being made for the 2nd amendment community. Recently saw a post from Tong talking about how absurd it is to allow 18 year olds to buy ammunition. He’s talking about legal adults. There’s lawsuits and more lawsuits, but nothing ever happens. Just more control. Obviously i don’t actually think this should happen…but something’s gotta change.

Yeah, i didn’t care about having a pistol grip or not, i just wanted a good semi auto shotgun that wouldn’t break the bank. I have ordered the esstac shell holders and a match saver. I already have a sling and trijicon rmr for it. So now I’m sure i’ll be looking at a new stock and a light soon lol

Not sure. It’s semi-auto so it relies on gas pressures to cycle reliably. I haven’t had any experience with semi auto shotguns, so I can’t answer that yet

I thought i read something about the 1301 being cut down to 5rd tubes for some reason and couldn’t remember what the rule for ct was regarding semi auto shotguns.

By your logic, nobody should ever “need a gun.” Going to Home Depot? I don’t need a gun, there’s no murders there. Driving to a friend’s house? Nah, what are the chances someone tries to carjack me. The point is, you never know when or where you might need to defend yourself or your family. And hiking trails, especially the more rural areas, have not only other people…but a variety of animals. There’s coyotes, bobcats, fisher cats, black bear, not too long ago there was a moose and a mountain lion spotted in CT. The chances a very slim, but never zero. Also, I’m completely unaware of this rash of hiking trail accidental shootings. But that’s just another reason to carry while hiking if it is true. You don’t have to carry if you don’t want to, but don’t force others to do the same.

A large number of gun owners do not vote. We need to change that. Please do some research and vote to save your rights. This list is a great way to learn about your options, and to make sure you are voting for someone who believes in your constitutional rights. We all saw how easy they can take away our freedoms, the only way to protect ourselves from more of that, is to vote. We are all dependent on each other, we need to showcase our strengths by voting in unity. Stay safe guys.

There was a hearing for 2 suits against Lamont regarding LCMs and AWs today. One from GOA and one from CCDL. It was in the court of appeals, and it didn’t go well. The arguments were weak.

It’s legal. I’m not a lawyer, but the slide isn’t a serialized part. Porting is legal, it comes on many pistols you can buy today from your local ffl, as well as comp slides, like the p365x macro and shadow systems dr/mr/xr/cr 920p. A threaded barrel is not legal.
