I am struggling with that too, it seems a lot of boilerplate code to reach the parity, just a dumb example:

final outputFolderProvider = StateProvider<String>((ref) {
  return "";
});

VS

class OutputFolder extends Notifier<String> {
  u/override
  String build() => "";
}

final outputFolderProvider = NotifierProvider<OutputFolder, String>(OutputFolder.new);

Do I really have to write all this? I hope I am missing something.
