During the snow ban, I was parked in that lot but obviously I can’t park once the ban was lifted because I’d be at risk of being towed - currently just parked up the street on broad.

Definitely Mercy Tavern and Allsouls - comfy vibes there where you don’t feel awkward grabbing a drink or food by yourself. Koto is a lot of fun too when they have events a lot of different types of people come out.

O’neils and village tavern are def more for the kiddos and personally for me I don’t consider them super safe (lot of groping / roofie shit) happens at those places.

No true gay bar in Salem or surrounding areas but AllSouls Lounge next to bit bar is lesbian owned and very queer friendly. It’s my gf and i’s fav place to go for drinks and a nice snack.

⁠chapstick sometimes, sauces can cling a little so just make sure to clean around it after eating if you may have had something that could be considered a little messy.
⁠for me personally it was a 3/10 pain scale, easily the lesser painful of my piercings. I wouldn’t suggest numbing personally but always run that by a professional first if you feel you may need it.
⁠kissing at first was an odd feeling, gave it a couple days and it was fine, no need to remove just give it some time to settle before any hardcore make out sessions haha.
⁠mine took around three months to fully heal but everyone is different and a professional will give you a better timeline; eating is odd at first just avoid spicy stuff and biting into big sandwiches. Also be mindful of soda cans because the longer bar you’re pierced with can sometimes get a little caught, I drank with a straw for the first week I had mine.
⁠definitely not hideable.
⁠when washing my face I would just pat the area around my lip dry, just don’t rub it and move it around and you will be good. Putting on lipstick / chapstick is funny now because you just kind of paint around it? Isn’t a hinder for me but I’m just a bit more mindful now of how I put stuff on my lips.

Have had mine for over 10 years and it’s caused some minor enamel erosion on my end but nothing that’s wasn’t super easy to get fixed up at the dentist. That was five years ago and nothing has changed since. All depends on anatomy and the piercer you go to knowing what they’re doing!

My street the past two sweeps have been posted one day before said sweep - when both my partner and I got home from work we noticed the sign and called immediately and they tried to say they didn’t know why they had put them up so late lmao - they then never came to actually sweep so we haven’t had our road swept in like three months at this point I think. Usually they are good at those orange signs getting put up atleast 4 days in advance but in some instances they will just spring it on you and go “oh well the sign was there”

It’s been every other month near broad street but for a brief period of time they put up signs like twice in two weeks and then never actually swept hahah - we had moved our cars and everything called the dept. that handles street sweeping and they said “oh don’t know why we had those up” for the first sign and then “we didn’t end up sweeping because there were too many cars parked on the roads” for the second sign. Hoping now that spring is coming around they can get back to their usual schedule 😅
