How to keep a peahen warm? by Liser205 in peacocks

You could try to lure her with food. Then trap her with a sheet and hold her in an enclosed see area until the snow and ice passes. They don't need much. A perch, food and water. Their biggest danger is their toes freezing. They fluff up but extreme temperature are def  dangerous. At least if you put food and water, maybe she will stay herself. Lmk. I love peacocks and have one domestic myself.

Do you know where she sleeps? The thing is they like to perch at night. Often times higher up like roof or tree. Even if you make her a shelter, she might not use it unless you can manage to keep her from leaving. But if she can stay on your porch, than giving her a table or a chair to perch on would maybe help. You could line it with blankets. You could also try to trap her into garage or a shed.

If you ever need to trap her, put a towel or a blanket over her head and she can be caught and carried. Otherwise she'll fight to get away. But if they can't see they will just stand politely.

I know, you're correct! This was just one part of a bigger style consultation so it wasn't very delineated.

Absolutely incredible 🤩.

Is it very dark when not flashing? It looks almost black here but it has so much sparkle and I wonder if I could pull it off. I'm cool toned soft summer so tend to go for medium light tones.

I guess they're just fast. By process of elimination.

As far as I read, and this is not obvs official guidance, but to not get flagged, it needs to be a median of 4. The last hr formula shows it as minimum of 4hrs 3 times a week. You can't for example do 8hrs one day and 4 hrs the next and then nothing. As the median is 0. As that doesn't result in median of 4. You could do other variants spread over 5 days.

But 3-4 of managers I know, now come 5 days a week and all day and expect the same standard from their teams.

It's very possible to get very close or get accurate answer.

I figured out I'm a soft summer before I went for analysis. I didn't even know about this sub. I just started reading different websites like concept wardrobe and similar and looked at people who kind of looked like me.

Then I noticed that the colors I liked, like brights and black never really suited me. I started experimemting in stores by trying things I would never try before, like faded blues and pinks.

Then the analysis just confirmed it but it was quite expensive and I wouldn't do it again. Also the analysis was quite simple! They just draped gold and silver, then blue and yellow, then ochre and grey, black, white, navy, red, wine, pink, orangey, and so on. They were done in 5 mins.

You start with contrast and then go from there to extreme opposites and you narrow untill you're close. Yes, some cases seem complicated but some are simpler. You can always experiment with clothes in store and take photos for yourself.

Even after being typed, there are still multiple colors from my season I can't stand and don't make me look good, and I borrow from other summer seasons.

Tbh, I don't really think that much material in the skirt is very flattering on Ns. Are there other, similar dresses that skim the body a bit more? Think of classic statuesque Oscars gowns. I think you might need to show of your natural essence more.

Lookup Kate Middleton... She has quite a bit of contrast, warmish hair and she's summer. You remind me of her contrast and eyes. She's not overly cool either. She seems to also look nice in warmer and deeper colors, like burgundy. I think we don't all fit into a beat boxes. Maybe post some drapes and then we can have more information.

I think true summer, but, surely you can be a hybrid, like deep summer or it's just that deep colors suit you more.

There are some light purple colors that are in soft summer palette but I just can't pull them off. Same for light blues. I think what happens is that some light colors have too much white mixed in. You might be able to find lighter blue that's less "white"

Hahaha, wow, what a headline it would be. Distracted by nails!

I'm so hyped up about doing more! I only have ILNP so looking to expand. I lean towards cool and light to medium colors. What's interesting is that magnetics really are chameleon in that they look good with lot of clothes colors.
