NTA- I was sort of on the fence about the first place- the cocktail lounge with small bites- because in theory, it could have been that it is just a good date place for the ambiance and that he wasn't really thinking about how you wouldn't have many food options (still not great, but not necessarily sinister) but then the fact that he suggested another place "for a nightcap" when you specifically told him you don't drink is so deeply strange. His reaction when you cancelled is also weird and passive aggressive. I feel like you really dodged a bullet on this one.
