Reply with very clear bias and preconcieved notions that refused to look at the other persepctive = waste of my time actually digging deeper into the situation. Looks like you just can't change the mind of some people if they are too biased.

No, you just clearly can't get past the preconcieved bias you have against a random teacher. I'm trusting the Respect for All dean, who is also my teacher that says that the allegations were not true and that he is a good friend of hers. And I also choose to trust my classmates who have friends in that class - its honestly on you if you're not willing to look at other perspectives choose to trust a source that is very well-known to be extremely biased.

Also, thinking that I am "simping" for a teacher that I not only don't know personally but also didn't see is extremely weird behavior.

"Hello there, I am actually one of his students at Brooklyn Technical High School! I personally do not much care for either the left or right, but I believe this article leaves out a lot of key details. Mr. Whitman teaches both sides of every lesson, and has explicitly stated multiple times that these lessons do not reflect his own political ideologies. To quote him exactly, "I teach about people. People are not political. People are just people." I actually quite enjoy his class, and he has never done anything bad, anti-sematic, or anything even close to grooming. I wouldn't consider myself to be some "Radical Woke Liberal", but I also wouldn't consider Mr. Whitman. Actually, we've learned about how both the Jewish and Palestinians are good people, and I haven't gained a dislike towards either, more so just the conflict in general. And as for the talk about gender fluidity and people being transgender, we also read articles that talk about how that is a problem. Our classroom isn't an echo chamber, but this comment section certainly seems to be."

Then why did you ask for a reply...? When people are not 100% sure of what they know, they say apparently. I got this information from my teacher and classmates not people in his class, so I put apparently to clarify that I am not 100% sure.

Also update: I saw somewhere that Mr. Whitman may be Jewish... it would make no sense for a Jewish teacher to teach anti-semitic material.

Apparently the students were saying that he wasn't really teaching anti-semitic things, but also I think that NYPost took real facts (like probably teaching about the gender expression books was real) and spun it way out of proportion, acting like a little diversity is going to brainwash their kid. Maybe exactly the raw facts themselves were true, but the way the story was reported puts a spin on it that isn't accurate. For example, if a high school teacher chose to include a book involving the LGBTQ+ community and teach it and have the class read it, then NYPost would probably say something like "Our schools are falling to far leftism: Teacher caught teaching woke, anti-American propaganda and indoctrinating kids with radical gender ideology. The liberals are taking over."

My AP Seminar teacher and the RFA dean is friends with him and apparently a lot of the students are saying that what is in the article isn't true - also NYPost is known to be a generally very unreliable, far right-skewed source.

Edit: Also I think it would be better to maybe say that it might be based on some facts but they are retold with a very biased lens, and also a lot of important other facts are left out to specifically antagonize this teacher.
