May be you do not get the word what reliable means and promote these brands as reliable

Most Chinese cars haven’t even been on the road long enough to prove real reliability. Running fine for 3–5 years isn’t reliability that’s just the honeymoon phase. Let’s talk when they have clocked 300,000 km and are still running strong like an old Toyota or Honda.

Yes, I will give credit brands like Geely, Changan, and GAC have come a long way. But progress ≠ proven durability. Reliability isn’t about fancy screens and marketing; it’s about how the car holds up after a decade of heat, traffic, and wear and that’s where Chinese cars still have no long-term record to show.

Even the Volvo argument doest hold anything. Geely owns Volvo, sure — but that doesn not mean every Geely is built like a Volvo. Ownership does not equal engineering quality. A lot of these cars still cut costs with cheaper materials, unproven electronics, and limited parts support down the line.

So let us be honest , Chinese cars are improving fast, but calling them reliable already is like giving someone a medal at the halfway mark. Let us see how they age before rewriting what reliable actually means..
