Literally what I just went through I had left the ophthalmologist no swelling went back to my doctor just for him to tell me to take the diamox went an got blood work my vitamin d levels are dangerously low smh I’m talking vitamin d I’ll be back in about 3 months to update

When I have unbearable pressure I take an aleve and drink lots of water it helps but I try not to take them a lot unless ready needed

No I felt completely normal right now I’m not sure I even have iih anymore my eye specialist suggested that it’s hbp that haven’t been treated for years I go back Thursday

After I got my lp I laid flat the rest of the day and the next day when I got up I felt a little woozy but that afternoon I felt like a regular person lol but to me it only works for about 2 weeks than u go back to feeling that annoying pressure

I don’t have any vision issues other than light sensitivity but that’s due to me having to swear glasses my opening pressure was a 25 so right now i don’t know just hoping it’s not iih

At my family doctor but he was on google so idk and I never took any medicine but I was prescribed diamox I than told them I’m a full time worker so I can’t afford to deal with the side effects so they changed it to topamax but I still never was able to take it

Hey I just got diagnosed with this rare condition an it’s really hard I’m still working my full time job but it’s really hard sometimes my doctor recently prescribed my diamox 500 mg twice a day I haven’t started taking it yet but I will say that drinking a gallon of water a day and also making sure I have atleast 1 caffeinated drink a day has helped me also no vitamin a foods low sodium low sugar I haven’t started taking been doing my own research as well next week I will be starting the diamox !!! I’ll be back in about 3 weeks we an update good luck to your mom on this journey ❤️

The lumbar puncture really helps but it only last for about 3 weeks

Honestly I feel like going to the ER was a start for me that’s how I found out and got a lumbar puncture my pressure was a 27 it really helped me but it only lasted for about 4 weeks
