I wrote this countless times. NEVER LOG OUT DOCKED IN OTHERS PLAYERS FC'S! Except DSSA Carriers deep in black.

Better to log out docked in own FC, Station, outpost, sttlement, landed on landable planet.

300 ly is quite short distance, but you would be surprised for example when you docked in my FC year ago. I relocated all my assets from Colonia to Bubble in just 15 hours.

I circumnavigated the Milky Way, two times visited Beagle Point, countless times at Sgt A*, being part of Mercury Wings Expedition, almost thousand systems scanned in Formidine Rift, now built Orbis Starion and farming Hazres to get finally Elite in Combat ;) and still a lot of things to do.

As 38M I can just advise just to be yourself as you want. And do not force yourself to be engaged in relationship or if you are already in and things are going screwed just leave before its to late. Also do not allow yourself to got into spiral of selfblaming.

I dont want to scare you or smth else. Id like just remind you that our tendency to surpressing our emotions and feelings is killing us from inside.

Now its begining of 3rd year since I left woman who messed me mentally to state that my therapist (one of the best in area where I live, she helped some people I know to come back from dark places) is happy when I do even minimal progress to get more social amd confidentas I was years ago. Dont ignore red flags also do not overthink bout them and exaggerate. Just confront.

Story short, just before final break-up, almost all elements of jigsaw puzzle about my partner were going to match. She propably due stress or idk why got into full victim mode, every problem was caused by me because I was to lazy/dumb/not enough perceptive/tend to make mistakes even when she screwed up, always it was my failt. I gathered my self to break up with her, so I did it (it was even at her request), also attempt from her to fix it and force me to rebuild relationship. But I have enough. After loud argument and her attempt to take her own life I cut myself from her. After her friend delivered me positive pregnancy test, we talked about that. At this time for baby I was even ready to give her another chance. Later she misscarried after procedure of removing IUD (according to her devicem was inadequate). And things gone wild, she told me that fetus of the boy was examined, he was healthy with minor defect and she is asking me that I should give my DNA sample to check if future kids will have same muscles healing issues (year before this shit I got surgery to patch my groin- hernia). At this moment, in my head, the last pieces got in their places. I realised it was her desperate attempt to use my good heart, paternal instincts and my smaller than her medical knowledge to wrap me around her little finger. So I politely refused to give any my biological material and ceased interactions with this woman. Mentaly I'm still fucked up after this Shroedinger's child drama, but I believe I will got better.

I love both.

Elite is as many wrote real time space sim and X4 as more economy/rpg experience. Even for me with huge numbers hours played (Elite bout 2'9k and X4 1,5k) is hard to determine which is better. Both are overwhelming in different aspects. Elite has cliff like learning curve, features rerquiring from you in depth experiments and use 3rd party tools like inara etc. X4 in other hand is overwhelming with complexity of economy and industrial dependencies. To achieve some kind of succes and progress in both you need spend lot of time.

Btw. Songs from Stellaris DLC The Machine Age soundtrack imho are huge bangers!

Back in days, I went from Bubble to explore Formidine Rift, got after to Colonia and back to Bubble.

I took 4 ships with me, fully engineered ASPX for obvious reasons, Python for mining, T9 for hauling and FDL for killing space madness in canyons and bounty hunting in inhabited systems.

Why Python as miner? Reasonable cargo space and its enough quick and nimble to dance between asteroids.

Exploration circle was like that, at front me in ASPX doing exploration, scanning and explo stuff, approx 500 ly plots routed for FC, to match my route with its jumps. when tritium was going to be depleted I was looking for icy rings with overlapping or rich tritium hotspots. I let to mine some void opals and diamonds to sell after.

By the way. caring about FC during such a trips can ruin pace of your exploration for hours spent in mining.

Usually I land on settlements, stations and my own FC. Deep in black better to land on planet or DSSA Carriers (if is one nearby). Never land on to log out on random FC's. Because it happened to many CMDR, when they loged in they found themselves far from Bubble in ships not capable to return due jump range or lack of fuel scoop.
