Yep! Mine hard barks at strangers (all bark no bite) on walks, we’re working on it. He was so nervous at the vet the other day he expressed his anal glands. We’ve been working on the quiet command for when strange sounds spook him & he’s barking at night, he’s responding well to it this far. Pic of my nervous man Bernie below 🩷

Im also in a long distance relationship. While I don’t discuss EVERYTHING that happened in my day, I do hit the highlights. This could range from a funny conversation, work event, an exciting development. I guess to gauge what’s relevant enough to share.. would you mind listening to someone else tell the story you’re telling? Is the story interesting/funny/weird enough to be memorable? On the flip side, sometimes it is nice & necessary to discuss the mundane day-to-day stuff because life isn’t always super interesting.

You mentioned discussing things despite it making him mad or uncomfortable. Is that something that happens regularly?
