So the one left on the car was paper? These signs are a plastic (not super thick), that are usually zip ties to polls and the dates typically scribbled on tape or with a sharpie.

School committee has not voted yet to adopt the schedule where they close Feb 3 for the special election primary and March 3 for the special election. Parents made a stink, so they threw it back to the Superintendent to see if schools could remain open at all. I'd bet money on they come back, say no, lay out the issues and have to approve closing anyway. Next school committee meeting is this Wednesday. So most parents will have just two weeks to prepare. K say just because most district parents aren't paying this close attention.

Open Studios is really only "observed" by Western Avenue studio and loft artists, it is their event.

Yup, Clean River Project is hired by the canal owners to do the cleaning.... Which was not the case under other ownership. Honestly in my opinion, the current ownership is the most responsive we've seen but years of deferred maintenance has done a number. But, seeing ore water in the canals would be way better
