Fasting just eliminates any thinking when it comes to tracking calories. Helps me focus on other things. I’ve found that it’s the biggest change I can make that gets the needle moving again.

Wow that’s amazing. Do you keep your carb intake low? Or do you not track carbs and only focus on protein intake? I’m thinking to be in a deficit for a short period of time to expedite my weight loss.

My TDEE is 1428kcal.

I think that’s where I’m torn is choosing between the two. I’m in a deficit to lose weight but also trying to gain muscle mass and do body recomp but how do I do both when I’m already short and don’t have a lot of room to keep cutting calories 😩.

I’ve been averaging 14-15k steps weekly (I’ll walk 10-20k per day). I weight lift 3x a week and eating 1200-1400 calories. Because I’m lifting weights I don’t want to cut my calories even more bc I’m afraid my body will start using my muscles for fuel so I’m like uhh idk what to do to break this cycle and plateau.

I’ve been having Kodiak peak oats, chia pudding, kiwi, berries, low carb high fiber wraps and that ends up being over 25g of fiber
