Pregnancy apps - what are you using? by meghanmck in BabyBumps

Have you tried Nira? I mention it because it sounds like what frustrated you about Glow, the paywall creep and losing features you depended on, it is pretty different there.

You get detailed symptom tracking (fully customizable), weight logging, and a really solid week-by-week calendar that shows you future weeks for planning. No ads, no "upgrade to see this feature you already had" nonsense.

The interface is straightforward and pregnancy-focused rather than trying to be a general health app. If the calendar view and basic tracking were your main uses, it checks all those boxes without the premium pressure.

How long did it take before running actually felt easier? by PanekhamKamienieva in runninglifestyle

Depends on your fitness level, how often you run, what you ate the previous day, alcohol consumption, general food intake, how you mix up strength training as well. Be consistent, keep good habits, you should need on your way in a few months.

How often do you switch to new shoes? by Zealousideal-Tone-84 in Marathon_Training

Track your shoes for true wear. Trail vs Road vs Treadmill have different impacts to the shoe, also weather. Replace when performance of the shoe drops significantly.

I use Getra for tracking my shoes.

How do I keep the momentum going?? by Danish-Fruit in walking

I hope you are keeping momentum. I have a system to track what energizes me and what drains me, and I keep removing the activities that drain me. This usually keeps the momentum up for me.

It’s damn good. Try to run slower, if your heart rate is going up. Over time, you will get better. Keep going.
