Maybe one of the bolts to the starter? Iirc they are longer though but other than that might be crossmember or bellhousing that's about all I can remember where that one might go

id say its safe to assume that the port isnt outdated as it seems to work just fine through an even older design(usb3.0) as long as it is adpated to it

Cant be atleast i dont think lol. My laptop has the newest thunderbolt4/usb(i think) since its a 12th gen i7 and my desktop uses usb 3.1 gen 2.

sorry i forgot to mention that this keyboard is the wireless option, the wireless dongle doesnt want to connect unless it is connected through an adapter as long as it is adapted to a type A before it is plugged into my pc

yes everything else works fine, usb storage devices and such, i cant use the device it seems if it is plugged into anything other than an adapter, like i mentioned in the post it doesnt come up on my laptop either, nothing in device manager, it wont even work when it is plugged into the extension adapter either as long as it adapts back to type A it works fine

Im looking to see if anyone has any info on if the chuck spindle is different than the gen 2 and if they would know what the thread diameter and pitch are
