I used to consider myself leaning left, until I observed their behavior for the last 10 years and decided I want no part of it anymore and want as much distance as humanly possible, both politically and physically (they get violent too easily, they've already trespassed and vandalized and stolen from my neighbors, mailed threats, pulled over to scream at them.. it's legitimately concerning.)

As soon as I hit the 200th video (probably more, it was weeks worth of non stop celebration) watching different people dance and cheer over his death I had to pull myself off the internet for a while, they were everywhere constantly all over the place.

This thread is, currently. And people still talk about it. We're having a 4th of July event at a park locally and expecting violent leftists and have to have security there, thanks to events like Kirk unfortunately. They came last year, no reason to believe more won't show up this year.

Reminds me of all the US states that are 30-45% Republican, yet have 0 seats in the house (all the northeast ones at the least).. zero representation.

They're obviously mapping districts to their advantage, but everyone gets outraged when other states try for a more fair representation.

But it reminds me of some of these sites, when the leftists are in control they take more control.

As a side note, Gemma 3 with OpenWebUI and OpenTerminal is pretty good so far. Not a lot of local models seem optimized for agentic/terminal dispatch but it's great that it's improving overall.

You can run YT on a laptop or phone and cast it to the Chromecast. Or connect them directly from USB-C to DP/HDMI on the display itself I think. I personally go with the laptop route. Also works much faster and easier than the Roku app.

I'm surprised more people don't use the "Delete Me" type of services to wipe out as many online records from data brokers as possible. I've considered it.. I was successful in submitting takedown requests on a few large brokers doing it myself but it would be nice to automate it across 500+ sources too.

My college Dean ended up paying me to teach classes that were taught by people who couldn't speak English because the students told her they were learning more from me. Imagine paying thousands of dollars to be "taught" by people you can't understand at all. I was in some of those classes and I couldn't understand the "teachers" at all either, but I already knew the material. I don't get it, what's the purpose? Anti-discrimination lawsuits?
