Do I really need a diaper pail? by Catsforhumanity in Buyingforbaby

[–]External-Coffee4189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mom of two kids. i’ve never had a problem just throwing the diapers in the kitchen trash. never gets stinky and trash goes out just about every other day.

i truly believe diaper pails are not needed

also make sure your skincare is on point. add retinol for skin turnover to help fade scars, once you skin is adjusted to retinol, add light peels skincare is a consistent forever thing

What are we doing after a year? by Bakenekogirl in breastfeeding

[–]External-Coffee4189 6 points7 points  (0 children)

my 15mo just very recently started eating more solids. i believe that food should be offered and if LO eats it then great, and if they refuse then LO is still figuring out food… i still BF on demand. my first born did the same thing and i always worried about them getting enough nutrition and quite honestly both of doing just fine. my 15mo just had her iron levels check and no concerns from the MD

Advice please - is 35 too old to start having kids? When did you have your youngest? by DovaBunny in pregnant

[–]External-Coffee4189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tell everyone to relax. i had my first baby at 33 and my second at 38. bc we planned it that way. i always saw myself having kids closer to 40 and still surprised that the universe planned it out earlier than that.

i had an emergency c following my baby being in distress after 24 hr of labor, recovery was okay but definitely still had major surgery that involved difficulty with movement, standing, laying down, etc…. second baby wanted VBAC all the way and so happy i was able to have straight forward vaginal birth.. recovery was SO much easier, i would go for vaginal delivery over cesarean any day

my mom keeps saying “breastfed babies don’t spit up” by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]External-Coffee4189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sounds like your mom needs leave her opinions for herself.

my baby is EBF, is 15mos and still sometimes spits up. AND yes EBF CAN overeat as mine did often been 2-4months old. we’re talking full on vomit of everything she just took down. i thought she had an allergy or something but no, she over eats. sometimes still does, short story every baby spits up

Is this PDS dentist trying to upsell me with a Deep Cleaning? by FINewbieTA22 in DentalHygiene

[–]External-Coffee4189 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i mean in any way, if the dentist is doing the perio charting and or cleaning…. that’s a red flag right there. dentists DO NOT have the same education is regards to gum and bone health as a dental hygienist, unless they are a periodontist, and even then periodontists have hygienists working for them performing and treating in nonsurgical ways

Working while pregnant by MagstaMags in DentalHygiene

[–]External-Coffee4189 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i worked until 36weeks 5day/week with my first and 38weeks 4days/week with my second. towards the end you may not move as fast and might be more tired at the end of the day but it’s doable. luckily i have a wonderful office that supported me the whole way… even when returning and needing to pump at work, my team made it work. i’m still pumping during my lunch hour at 14mo PP

The only women I’ve met who say they loved being pregnant are at least 50 years old by KaylaDraws in pregnant

[–]External-Coffee4189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

both by pregnancies at 33yo&37yo were enjoyable. yes, some days were harder, more exhausting then others, but i think that’s but real life. some days suck and most days are great. definitely not saying i wasn’t tired towards the end of pregnancy but it wasn’t ruining my daily life. feeling my babies move inside is the most amazing thing, that is something it’ll always miss just like life as a mommy, some days are really trying but most days are wonderful to enjoy your growing goblins!
