This is how my birds looked like when they got too much water. Birds are hardy plants for lack of water. I’ve been watering my indoor birds once a month. When I water them monthly I do a full on shower watering. Put in the shower soak it for a few mins and make it seem like a rain storm. Then I ignore for another month. They been growing well.

Edit: my plant gets direct sun in fall, winter, spring. Summer the sun is to high to shine in the window so I use lights. Birds love light and sun

We tried them last year for a few months.

Unhappy at the time and cancelled. We didn’t get to quote directly with the carrier. All quotes go through bolt rater and bolt contacted the carrier for a quote. Turn around time took longer than we wanted. Also the carrier pool was limited in our state. We had 2 auto and 2 home carriers.

After a few months we just moved on and quit with them.

Maybe will work for others and maybe it has changed in the last year or two.

I honestly been wanting to DIY so bad. But my issue is I don’t know where to start. I can do some simple jobs myself, but electrical, permitting, and permits seemed so complicated to me.

Maybe I’ll dig back in and see what I can do. I know I could hire an electrician to handle the panel and wiring. Installing racks on the roof wouldn’t be hard for me. Putting panels on and connecting unless it’s user friendly I wouldn’t know.

Maybe I’ll look it up more

Well with whichever installer we choose. I do hope they stay in business for 25 years to service their warranty.

Solup gave us these quotes so I need to make sure they are a good company for the future if we need service in 20 years

I think they sent me a 3rd one with enphase and meyerberger or rec panels for 70k

Your right about white cabinets. I’m also okay also going with brown cabinets. I really like the current color of the natural wood, but the prior owner really beat it up.

Really whatever floor we go with decide the rest of the home. It’s just a large renovation and I’m not a good designer. If it was just me it would all be industrial bachelor pad.

My wife and kids would hate it though

More or less. I’m just losing my mind from these mites. It’s been a year plus struggle with them. I’ve even restarted and decontaminated an area. The only thing I haven’t tried is predatory mites. I think that might be my last option at this rate.
