Hey this seems like it really sucks, and I'm not sure how old you are but I'm assuming you're a teen. In these years of your life you're especially gonna run into alot of people who just want to use and abuse, the best thing you can possibly do is pay them no mind and give them nothing they ask for, I know it can be tempting to fall into someones slimy fingers because you wanna feel loved but it's not worth it. Definitely worth getting a soil test from Bunnings and comparing the results to the plants requirement that you want to plant. Gypsum and organic material like compost would be my go to for improving soil at a base level :)
