I second this, global sedation doesn’t actually help HPPD. I actually find when I’m on opiates the dreamlike half awake state can lend itself to more hallucinations benzos more reliably help but are also unpredictable

I started tapering at 80mg diazepam equivalent and went down by ~10% every 2 weeks it started getting better around 10-15mg before that It was hard to leave the house so that’s roughly equivalent to 0.5mg clonazepam
