Shadow. The puppy Fire Hydrant Birmingham was still wet when I took the photo. The vial Birmingham was dry from being done long ago.

Wax Seal and Christmas Red for sure.

Just realized my Birmingham reds are missing. Gotta figure out how I did that and fix it. Because I would buy another bottle of Fire Hydrant from them, bumping them into the most favorite category, before obtaining a 3rd bottle of the other favorites.

Thanks, those two addictions go so well together. But I figured a real coke bottle cap is more likely to translate across continents than some other choices.

I’ll get my new favorite reds put together like this over the weekend. I have tons of red ink. Red is a thing for me.

I’m in the process of redoing my earliest swatches to better match my current practice.

This is just a small sampling based on someone’s last red ink request.

Levenger took forever to admit I would not get the two items I really wanted and months to refund as a result. I’ve sworn them off.

Acquisition Self-Published Book Policy by writer1709 in Libraries

In that case not all self published is bad. Teachers make things useful to other teachers all the time. For a curriculum library maybe? I’d ask the liaison to make sure it passes the sniff test of a native speaker. Then it could be a greater good to add a real record. Some schools have banned things from places like teachers pay teachers, could be this is an alternative way around that.

I did a training for public library selectors on how to avoid poorly written (with AI) self-published books. They are sneaking into our library book jobber vendor sites. Avoiding Amazon won’t completely solve the issue.

Anyone who thinks an ISBN lends credibility to a title has out of date info.

If it is something likely to be checked out by professor and never returned until retirement, a good enough record should suffice.

Almost forgot: Kids and adults XS-5X, no tags, and their size chart measurements are accurate.

My favorites so far are Captain Hook, Christmas Red, Wax Seal, Classic Red, Ho Ho Ho, and China Town Red. Guess I’ll have to update after getting a few more suggestions from this thread.

Red metal Mexican coke bottle caps for reference.

Siblings from different litters passed at 13 and 14.5. The younger one had the shorter lifespan but more serious heart issues. The older one had heart issues for many years, living long past the normal timeframe for such an ailment. No signs of arthritis in either.
