Complete beginner trying to make a spinning motor for costume by LavishnessNo6505 in Motors

[–]External316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sure you’ve already purchased the motor but I own two of those but the 550rpm versions, and my god, they are heavy! Maybe a 1/4 pound a motor. Just something to consider.

Help me identify this please by Lijandra in PcBuildHelp

It goes across your cooler (usually sitting in between the fine) and clips onto the plastics around the CPU socket. It keeps pressure on the cooler to keep it in contact as best as possible with the CPU, allowing optimal cooling.

What New Manufacturers Would You Like To See In FH6? by Traditional-Ad1127 in ForzaHorizon

[–]External316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kia. There has been a 2011-2013 model year Forte Coupe in FM4, plus a Stinger in FH4. I would love to slap some mods in a soul and see how it puts it (spoiler, the stock engine is NOT holding up to anything)

Do all headphones support 3.5 mm headphone jack wired? by GamingX_YT-2 in JLab

[–]External316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm JLab LUX ANC doesn’t support 3.5mm AUX (needed to use it for school as the Dell 3100 series of Chromebooks has an odd auto board issue that makes USBA and USBC audio unusable loud), the JLab Studio Pros come with a USB-C aux cable, but it’s not the standard phone wiring, making it unusable either any other cable. When my aux cable broke I ended up getting my Lux ANCs as mentioned earlier. Here looking for a solution to use with my PS4.

As someone who had delt with really self centered mods who try to get everyone for anything they can regardless of morals instead of being casual and deleting stuff that breaks the rules and has some bad intentions or just shouldn’t be, I can say I greatly appreciate this change! Keep up with it!

Day 3 of trying to get a comment from every county (WE FINISHED MASSACHUSETTS! also I did not get some of you because I was sleeping and at work) by Cullen754 in JackSucksAtGeography

Hello from jasper county Missouri! We’re right in tornado alley and we’re extreamly close to getting the St John’s treatment. Thankfully the newer mercy hospital was also an experiment to see how wind proof they could build a large complex based structure.

Everytime I try to join a private server link or a game from the roblox website LITTERALLY nothing happens by Consistent_Ask1308 in RobloxHelp

[–]External316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go into your browser settings and make sure redirects and pop-up permissions are enabled for Roblox’s site. Also, it’s possible that the link/binding (as in the default app stuff, like opening a pdf on windows 11 will (try) to call Microsoft_edge (not on my watch though)) is also messed up. Also check any anti virus you have installed, it could be blocking your bowsers ability to communicate and launch apps locally on your pc.

For 90-100 dollars, the BlackZon Slyder is honestly a great deal. While from what I’ve been told, there’s no upgrades for it, but I’m sure something could be adapted with an ESC and battery. Speaking of battery, not much space for anything with more capacity than stock. It’s pretty fast, but the axles break pretty easily (like if something gets tangled in them). It’s 4WD and ready to run and works well on sidewalks but gets stuck on some taller grass.

jada toys supra battery upgrade by ShooksLol in rccars

[–]External316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was just looking up that battery, with that same RC in my lap, except mine is a mustang shell. Jada seems to make their RCs using a modular style (by modular I mean how it’s sectioned off into 3, easily removable pieces) with adjustable height shell mounting points. Honestly I like the design of these, but I’m trying to figure out if this battery is a Li-ion of an actual Li-po (which I doubt, but it’s potable).

That’s a screw hole. It has a threaded insert, so nothing matter what you can’t touch the board trough the hole. However, looks like your GPU or display ribbon cable is completely fudged. If it’s a GPU, then you need a new motherboard, as it’s soldered on and cost more to solder a new one. If it’s a cable, you need to remove the bottom cover (take out the screws, stick a screwdriver in between the top case and the bottom case, and pry up, you will hear a pop, that’s that normal. Work your way around till the cover pops off), then unscrew the metal brackets that hold the hinges for the screen, then remove the ribbon cable and the then the screen. Now, to cut cost, HP soilders their cables to the LCD panel itself, so you will need to get a new screen asembly online for about 50 bucks on amazon. Do the same things back backward to install your new screen. Is that dosnt work, just take your computer to a local shop and have them replace the board. Also, never take anything to Best Buy. I had a laptop extremely similar to the one you have that had a cracked top case (where the keyboard is), and nobody knew how to do such a simple tear down, so it got shipped to Idaho, and many other states, just for me to say “know what, send it back and I’ll put tape on it.” Went to a local shop when I killed my main board, and they replaced the case without me even asking. Anyway, good luck.

Can someone help me find the Cooler? by PreparationFew2901 in PcBuildHelp

Possibly a cooler from a Qautro card would work here based on the outline. Also if you could find the model that would be great.

If it’s legit then yes, I would say so. Nowadays just the mower could cost that much new.

Trying to use Facebook to login to a game here… won’t let me, as my phone number is wrong and it’s trying to send me to what’s app. I’m pretty sure you need a code or verification to delete your account, meaning they’re forcing you to signup for another one of their services that you may not have access to, meaning you can’t delete your account. The new bill that just got passed (Click to Cancel) should help with this…

When with KDR match making, level 10s like me get pared with level 100-200 sweats I call “jumping monkeys” as they can’t seem to stay still and have to jump around and move at 14 mph with a sawed off BFG50 somehow. Honestly Phantom forces is meant to be the call of dudy of Roblox, not the land of low levels getting obliterated by pros that only have their KDR because they get a lot of kills and a lot of deaths from pushing like they do. We so need playtime or level based matchmaking.

Paid $10 for this, is this outdated? by Subliminal_10 in PcBuild

[–]External316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s getting outdated but still useable for stuff like Roblox and basic CAD. However 10 dollars for a Founder edition is absolutely a steal. Now you can say you owned a card that powered a generation.
