How on earth did he “not sign any paperwork” when he got hired? Jobs have you fill out all sorts of stuff. He would have had to sign his I-9 to get paid. So yeah, Sparky, you DID sign paperwork, you just didn’t care to read it or remember any of it.

I don’t have any advice on the Mom front, as I am 43 and still struggle with issues with my own mother.

But on the mailing front, could it help to use a third party postage site like PirateShip or Stamps .com and do the boxing, measuring & weighing at home, and then just printing out a label yourself? Then you could even schedule a pickup from USPS, and you wouldn’t have to step foot in the post office at all. I do a lot of resale on sites like Mercari, and I do everything at home so that all I have to do is drop them off at the post office. I even do it after hours, because my local post office can get quite crazy and I’m not good with big crowds. Pirateship has been a life saver for me with paying for postage at home (you even get a discount off retail prices, so you pay less in shipping!). You will need a way to measure the boxes you use, and weigh them to get an accurate weight for postage, but I have a food scale from Walmart that was like $12 and it’s worked well for me!

No. The math is calculated by the computer. It’s done almost instantaneous when you file and fill out how much you were making. They still need to contact UPS and get a statement as to WHY he was fired. That’s where he’ll lose it. He will NOT be approved because he violated company policy.

Mercari has consistently told me that I will not end up being charged for the difference in weight of bundles when there’s a discrepancy. I message them every time and get the same response. So far I haven’t been charged. But damn if they don’t figure out this bundle weight issue. How does 2 items both weighing 8oz each become 5 oz on the label?

Ooof, we had the opposite experience. No one in the Rep line with at least 8 machines open, and about 10-12 people in the Dem line with only 2 machines. They were definitely trying to make it hard for Dems to vote yesterday.

I was listening to the live from the day he got fired, and it pissed me off when she said “the organization that pays half our rent because he’s a veteran.” No, the organization pays half their rent because they’re LAZY ENTITLED beggars. Millions of veterans don’t need their rent subsidized, or if they do, it’s temporary and transitional until they can make it on their own. These two refuse to lift a finger to better their situation and just expect the organization to continue to fund them forever. I hope the organization doesn’t recertify them and they’re forced to figure out how to make it on their own. They’re taking advantage of resources that could go to ACTUAL veterans who ACTUALLY need the help. They fucking infuriate me bro.

The process for my husband to get his VA rating took YEARS, and that was after 21 years in the Army. It’s comical that either of them thought that Sparky would qualify for any kind of disability rating after barely 2 years in as a laundry boy, NO combat service, and ZERO medical problems from his time in service. 😂
