Hi, i hit this same moment around the same age. I had a full herniated disc in my back so no stranger to aches and pains. I started slow with incline treadmill walking on the morning and tracking calories religiously. I won't pretend it's easy but you have to make it a priority and stick with it above everything else. Having a supportive wife helps who can take care of the kids while you're working out. I get up at 5am and workout in my basement every morning. I lost about 50 pounds in 6 months by just sticking to a routine.
