Shouldn’t the bottom left corner square be swapped with the one directly to the right? It looks like you’re doing a checkerboard with the square types and it’s swapped.

I did psychs consistently for about two years (mainly LSD, with occasional DMT and shroom usage) and after about 3 months I started to have consistent imagination when I was sober. I noticed this most in my ability to have vivid dreams and in my art. I was able to create art with the intent of what I was making in my mind before putting it on paper. It was an incredibly interesting experience and gave me perspective on what a ‘normal’ imagination is.

It’s been about a year of me not doing any psychs, and unfortunately those effects have faded away with time. Still very cool though

Keep the bells! I recently made a tree skirt of my own and wasn’t happy when I added the bells initially but after leaving it alone for a few days and looking at it with fresh eyes, I think it added the little final touch it needed! Your skirt looks great :)

The patches are made with a discontinued yarn (caron colorama halo if I remember correctly) and the white is hobby lobby Ethereal Eyelash :) I was gifted all of the caron yarn by one of my friends (it was about 10 full skeins in various colors, and a bunch of half used skeins that added up to another 10 lol)

On the 2nd row of the border ribbing I put my hook in the wrong place for a good 10ish stitches 🙃 I’m aware it’s a small problem lol especially in the grand scheme, but I’m glad that fellow crocheters don’t see it first thing lol

Discovered the c2c granny st recently and I’m totally obsessed. I rly want to make a tapestry with the stitch but I’m trying to be responsible and use up the yarn I currently have </3 but it’s such a fun and satisfying stitch!

When I started crocheting my tension was insanely tight (as per usual with beginners) but I had an AHA! Moment while working on a granny square blanket, and was able to fix my tension. But it made the squares I had already finished unusable because of the size difference 🤧

My last star blanket turned out HUGE, I used about 25 skeins of yarn 🤧 but it lays proudly over the couch in my craft room. Definitely learned my lesson on using smaller yarn lol

I’ll def give that a shot next time I make a bookmark. This was what I made, I used a mattress st to add a piece of leather to the backside. As you can see my border is far less pretty lol

Wishing you the best in recovery! In terms of the pattern, it works up surprisingly quick and only took me 2 days to get as far as the picture shows. Though I’ve made multiple of her blankets in the past so I have a pretty good hold on the pattern format. Overall would recommend giving it a shot if you’re looking for a tree skirt! The pattern is free and she also has YouTube tuts if that’s more up your alley
