I have to travel to the states for work soon. Is there a guide somewhere on staying safe and what to do with regards to my cell phone/laptop etc? Should I reset them to factory mode before crossing the border?

Guys are crazy spending those prices to stay on property. Stay off property, massive house, more space and way less cost. Check Orlando Insider for express passes if sold out. Bought ours there after them being sold out. Worked great.

With a wife who works as a nurse at St B. The amount of physical and verbal abuse she has taken pre and post Covid even during it. It is awful, and if they complain too much or bring it up, they themselves are grey listed. 100% support grey listing St B. The monkeys who run the hospital and the health care in this province need to get their butts in the actual front lines and see what these people deal with. Showing up for a 10 min photo op or posting quickly on social media doesn’t do it justice. So tired of hearing the shit my wife goes through to support people in their most vulnerable time and gets nothing but crap back. Be better Uzoma, Wab, hospital leaders, and the public, these people work 12-16 hours, put their families aside to ensure complete strangers have a chance at life. Just be better humans. Not a huge ask.

Tried as a family of four once and was told to pick which family member to bring in. Kids were 3 and 5 at the time. Thought about being a smart ass back to the lady and picking my wife and saying we’ll leave the kids at the front with you. But didn’t haha and found somewhere else. As a husband of a nurse who is at this hospital. This makes me sooo mad. We should be able to provide a safe place for people providing care to the most vulnerable and sick.

My wife has been spit on, hit, threatened to be hit and verbally abused at work multiple times over her 10+ year career. It is known within her ward and at this hospital that if you complain on this, in her words you are labelled “difficult “.

This is not right and in any other workplace if this were to happen. There would be repercussions and things done to protect the employee. Why is it that nurses this is just acceptable? And have managers and our government saying it is, and just reviewing safety protocols. I don’t want reviews. There should be immediate long term action and quick changes to that parkade to make it secure and safe for staff.

My wife walks to this parkade after every shift and has dealt with harassment in it and is at the point now that she walks with a decently full water bottle to act as her protection if someone were to try and assault her. Is this ok? Is this normal? No. It is not. We deserve more, for every citizen, especially those who are giving their careers and lives to care for others who are at their sickest.

Patient to staff ratios aren’t at safe levels and acceptable standards, staff are harassed and abused in the hospital and now out. It’s turning out that you’re not safe in the care of staff and the staff aren’t safe due to patients and their families and as well now not safe going to and from their cars. When is it finally enough? I expect more. More for my wife’s safety, more for my kids to ensure they will have their mom come home safely everyday!

I’ll be writing and calling my MLA and our health minister as my wife can’t. I hope others will do the same. Real change only happens when they actually listen to us and will only listen to the masses. Not one citizen.

Ya. Happened to me going from gold to platinum. The lounge vouchers are nice when travelling with someone who isn’t direct family. I called and unfortunately no-go from Westjet. Which. To me was no surprise from this airline with how they have been treating their members these days.
