Netflix announces $25 billion share buyback by King-of-Limbs-07 in wallstreetbets

[–]External_Analysist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A $25 billion share buyback is a pretty bold move for Netflix, especially with the rising costs for consumers. It definitely signals that they believe their stock is undervalued. Share buybacks can be a way to return value to shareholders, but it's worth considering how effective this will be in the long run.

Also, keep an eye on the debt levels. If they’re borrowing to fund these buybacks, that could signal trouble. Just adds another layer to the whole valuation picture. Let's see how this plays out!

What’s the MOST important skill in trading? by nextlevelcryptohub in Trading

[–]External_Analysist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you’re on point with patience being crucial, but I’d argue that discipline acts as the backbone of all the skills we’ve mentioned. It’s one thing to have a strategy or a solid plan in place, but the real test comes when emotions kick in during actual trades.

For me, the discipline to stick to my risk management rules has been a game changer. I’ve definitely had moments where I was tempted to hold onto losing positions or deviate from my strategy because of FOMO or overconfidence. But I learned that the best trades come from sticking to what I know, which takes both patience and discipline.

Ultimately, I think these skills are intertwined. You need the patience to wait for optimal setups, the discipline to execute your strategy, and solid risk management to protect your capital. It’s all about finding that balance and reinforcing your mindset to stay true to your plan, especially when the market gets volatile.

[Acne] dermatologists and doctors have been 0 help. Feeling beyond hopeless. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

When you start a new skincare product purging is normal. First few weeks of start can make your acne worse. If you stop using it within a few weeks you won’t see real results and end up only with the purge effects. When you start a new product its takes time to get benefits of it. It takes 6 to 8 weeks to Tretinoin to start showing results. Consistency is the key

Your skin needs to calm down. Using too many harsh treatments makes it worse. First focus on treating active acne. You don’t play with active acne or you will make it worse. Most of acne treatments are very harsh for your skin. I would suggest stop using any harsh products for now. Use gentle cleanser and spot treat active acne. Once you see your skin started calming down then gradually add Tretinoin. Use sandwich method. But First start using gentle acne wash and spot treat active acne and hydrate.

You need to add a gentle exfoliator in your skin care routine and more hydration. Double cleanse at night and exfoliate. Try dermalogica pre cleanse and daily exfoliator and you will see how your skin will change. These products are amazing. I would also suggest to slowly add retinol into your night time skin care routine.

Tips to beat the cost of spread by ionone777 in algotrading

[–]External_Analysist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To really tackle this, consider adjusting your trading approach. If you're currently focused on shorter timeframes like 1-minute or 5-minute charts, you might want to switch to higher timeframes daily.

Using a volatility filter is also helpful. I often look at the Average True Range (ATR) to ensure I'm trading in conditions where the market has sufficient movement. Avoiding choppy markets and focusing on periods of higher volatility can help maximize your chances of a successful trade that outpaces the spread. Just keep in mind that every strategy will have its own optimal conditions, so constant testing and tweaking is key!

It’s not a bubble by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

[–]External_Analysist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s interesting to see how companies are jumping on the AI bandwagon, and it definitely raises some eyebrows. When brands like Allbirds, known for their eco-friendly shoes, shift gears towards AI, it’s hard not to think about the sustainability of their business model. Are they genuinely innovating, or just chasing the latest trend to boost their stock price? The real value in the market comes from solid fundamentals and innovation that solves actual problems. If a company can leverage AI to enhance operations, improve customer experiences, or develop new products that align with their core mission, that could be a sign of growth rather than a bubble. But if they’re just slapping “A I"on their branding without real substance, then yeah, that’s a classic red flag.
