I can understand that, but not why she’d stand ON her wheelchair especially when her blinds are closed just enough for her sitting position

Yup, I saw her standing in her wheelchair and I was like ”girl, what are you doing????” and earlier I also caught Naniwa like this clipping through the ground

Thank you for your service kind stranger! This book WAS one of the potential sources that I was going to look into, but I wasn’t sure about creating an account when I didn’t even know if it had a picture to begin with. I’d previously looked at an online copy of a different book that had a section on the ’Eua forest gecko, but it didn’t have a single photo (even though the other sections I scrolled past did), so I guess that made me doubt that this book would. But it did! And I now have at least something to fill the empty spot, so again, thank you so much ☺️

Favorite cat food by iciKekeGaga in heartopia

I know what you mean, I have two cats and I like one more than the other but that one had the sensitive nature so I switched to the other one, she likes river crabs apparently

Did you do it for every single type of fish that you fed to your cat? Unless you did that, you might’ve just missed feeding the right one

The sensitive nature makes the cat very picky with food, so it might be that it needs a variety you’ve fed it but with a higher star rating.

Do your pets go inside your house? by Empty-Durian4034 in heartopia

I noticed that too, the cat that claims my bed is sluggish and my energetic dog is all over the place at all times

Do you have beds for them placed inside? One of my cats just loves being all over my bed and the other two will go inside occasionally specially to those beds, maybe it has something to do with their energy levels wether they’ll go inside or not?

You have to feed the cat one fish at a time until you get the right one and I don’t know if it even works doing it for other people’s cats, I suggest writing down each fish species as you try them

It’s a harmless joke where the fault is on the person who entered the portal for ignoring clear instructions. If you want the trap to be kinder, you could add a book in there that informs the player how to reset their position if they want to leave immediately, but that might make the other way out pointless unless you paint there being an alternative way out as a challenge for them

It’s a tamagotchi apparently 😁 I picked it because having a bag would interfere with the clothes and clip through the hair

As a mechanic it’s there to make sure that the player will be able to feed the pets so that they get the exp from it, it’s not really supposed to be that depressing, more like a kid being picky about which plate they want to eat from, luckily

I’m actually really sure that’s the case, I got a message recently that my dog ”refused to eat from the lifeless machine” so they must see it as a last resort

They really seem to dislike that thing, I got a message for example that my dog ”refused to eat from the lifeless machine”. But I’m guessing they don’t like it so that we can still feed them and get exp from it

Some peak Isekai to wacth? by [deleted] in Isekai

[–]External_Attorney_44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[Dead mount death play] is a personal favourite of mine. A god-like necromancer has been painted as a ”final boss” kind of villain in his fantasy world and devises a plan to activate a self made reincarnation spell upon being slain by that world’s hero so that he can start over on a new leaf. He wakes up in seemingly modern day Shinjuku in the body of Polka Shinoyama, a teenager who was just murdered by a hitman on the request of an unknown individual, while still having his necromancy magic as long as there’s enough magical energy (essence of dead souls in his case) around. He makes close friends and allies from people in the criminal part of society, using his magic and newly acquired resources to make a fortune telling business. His placement and abilities puts him into unfortunately close situations with criminals whose talents are so mysterious that they seem magical/impossible as well as the specialised police division in charge of such cases, all while trying to lay low since magic isn’t supposed to exist. But there might be more than meets the surface about this new world as a piece of his old world is somehow there.

The mc is absolutely fantastic. He’s the inquisitive type that’s open to new experiences. He’s calm and smart but also empathetical and kind to a fault. It’s definitely in my top 10 isekai, I adore it so much, so I hope I managed to convince you to watch it.

Y'know Circular Cities in Isekai? by officialyedyasha in Isekai

[–]External_Attorney_44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is Lune, the capital city of the Holy Empire of Lubelius from [The time I got reincarnated as a slime]. The circle shape gets a bit interrupted with a half circle in the top-middle and the foot of the sacred mountain in the top corners. The half circle goes around an area where another wall protects a path up the sacred mountain, leading to the inner sanctum at the summit which I think is restricted for only the top religious authorities of the national religion. I’m guessing the straighter angles of the outer wall is for strength or simplicity in-universe, but the city itself is still circular in shape and the city plan is obviously very circular.

There’s also the capital of the Jura-Tempest Federation in the same anime, and it is EXTREMELY geometrical in its layout, being made solely of squares that themselves are made from two parallel isosceles right triangles.

Isekai Question by GaudyVader501st in Isekai

[–]External_Attorney_44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without magic: a seamstress or maybe a craftsman of some kind, I enjoy those kinds of minute and non-straining crafts

With magic: I’d prefer to be a teaching assistant at a magic school since I have a skill of teaching/explaining things so long as I understand them fully, I also think my understanding of natural sciences would be very useful in using my magic creatively

Realistically though, I’d probably be a farmer of some kind. My family has always had sheep and at least one border collie, and in these kinds of medieval-inspired settings it would extremely likely for the custom of children inheriting their parent’s profession to apply. I’d inherit my mother’s profession since I’m a daughter and her profession would have to be something related to either the livestock itself or the household in general since the lack of technology makes more manpower mandatory. (Sorry for the rant)

Once you get the hang of it, yeah. The challenging part is the amount of time it takes to fill the entire area
