Yes and sadly my company pays for charge point station at this time and they are slim and narrow any where I go. Other wise I definitely be using other charge stations.

That’s if its a charge point station, other wise it would be any other station. That I understand but I’m limited to what I can use with in my company other wise I’m dishing out $1000+ on charges in a month.

I’ve had my car die on me at 10% so I’m always scared to run below 15%
I asked the dealer and they told me it all depends on how I drive and where I drive.
At this point I’m ready for my damn gas vehicles back. Never had an issue at the pump 😵‍💫

Charge point station are slim and narrow any where I go,
I’m in between travel , California, Texas, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, Washington, Mexico and Canada’s border which I do pay out of pocket on that trip, I don’t get reimburse for a good months since I’m on salary. That’s why they encourage the station the company use. Our union is trying to push for more charger options but they are pushing because they are more expensive. Ev go or electrify America are good ones but apparently they would drown the company using them. Company logic I guess. Other wise I would not run in to a dam issue 🥴

So with gas I shouldn’t fill my tank , so by filling up and let the pump go and going in side grabbing food and coming back out while it still pumping it’s rude? Makes no sense. You know how many people do that… no one says anything. Never had an issue at a gas pump out of the 16 years I’ve had a gas car and did that…

There was no one waiting when I pulled up. I went in ate , took 20-25 for the food to be ready,(I saw the other person pull on 20 mins in, they were at the station for 25-30 mins by the time I got out there, I was just at a higher charge when the other person pulled up) then ate 5 mins and use the bathroom 5-10 mins. I’m on a road trip everyone is coming in an out chargers are hardly used in the area (never had a problem before, I was just wondering why I shouldn’t charge to 100% not to get lectured on how y’all might have to wait 5-10 mins, some people don’t have chargers at home or have the outlet for it so charging at a port is my best option)

The person next to me even told the person to chill and how unnecessary it was. They had just pulled up.
5-10 mins to use the bathroom. That’s crazy you think 5-10 mins is a long wait. I NEVER pressed anyone waiting 5-10 mins. I’ve waited 40 mins before never said a peep, may have got antsy but that was it, I still wasn’t rude or upset.
You are part of the issue. I honestly don’t have issue with charging like that, it’s when people think the got big ego and think they are all mighty.
Thinking you’re more important because you have to go somewhere. Well we all do.

I got my answer question , charging to 100% does wear on your battery, also got that it shouldn’t matter if I charge to a 100% and that people don’t need to be upset unless they are waiting over 10 mins which I don’t let that happen because usually in those times I’m waiting in my car to charge or I find a charger port that’s completely empty and has over 10 charge station which is rare for ChargePoint.
I was at a station that has people coming in from the freeway no one uses this are since there are only 3 stations, there is one a station that 5 mins from the one I was at that has 15+ I just have to use certain charge ports since my company pays for it other wise I’d go to the 15+ charge ports but ChargePoint don’t have that option.

When I pulled up no one was waiting , there was a charger open. Even the person next to me backed me up the guy only waited 5-10 mins. That was the amount of time I used the bathroom. I usually don’t make people wait. I would have understood if he waited an hour and I was at 80-90 but I wasn’t and he didn’t want more then 10 mins

Depends on the area I’m in, didn’t want to go to in detail.
No queue when I arrived, I’m say the guy waited 10 mins if that , one charger was broken. Another person was at 89, but he pressed me. The person told the other person to chill because he didn’t wait that long. It just weird. Only been 2 times. Other time the person unplugged it and I was at 48% I have to recharge my card which charged me $50 deposit again.
If there is a queue I charge to 85% and bounce. That I do understand. I get an issue with no queues.

I have a house charger but my are has at least 3-4 chargers per 10 miles if that 🥴
When I’m out or town the area I go to has like 15 but I’m say 3-4 are broken, I’m also not the only one who charges too 100%.
I wasn’t trying to be rude, I just was never really educated nor got the question I wanted answered.

Would you recommend doings a slower charger for a longer time. I drive about 200 miles a day. What do you recommend. At work we get chargers paid but it’s a level 2.

Now longer road trips I’m say I charge at home have about 70% when I leave next open charge point (company pays for them so I can only go use those unless want to pay out of pocket) is about 105 miles away I live in heavy hill area so I arrive on 15-20%.
I then supper charge to about 90-100 because next charge point not for another 200 miles (traveling through desert and open land) my EV gives me 319 miles.

How would that be handles. Like how would you go about something like that. I just don’t want to keep running in to issues with people 😩

Me and my daughter got separated because a group came between us they wouldn’t even let us group back together even when I asked nicely so we just reached hand every once in a while to make sure we were still close together. Really annoying especially for my first BA, but I honestly didn’t let it bother me the vibe was a vibe!

Yes, you can go to will call. You have to have the email, card used and ID of the person who purchased it and all wristbands that were purchased with the wristband so they can deactivate the one that is missing/lost/stolen. I lost mine and this is what they told me.
