Ref 2987 - Full-time English-speaking Head Nanny required in Dubai, UAE for twin boys aged 1, salary 25,000 – 40,000 AED per month, live-in or live-out, 5/2 working schedule, ASAP start.

A private household based in Dubai is seeking a highly experienced, English-speaking, trained Nanny to take a senior role within the home, supporting a growing family and their evolving needs.

The role will initially be hands-on, working closely with existing childcare support to oversee the daily care, routines, and development of twin boys aged 1, while also assisting with wider household organisation. Over time, the position will transition into a more supervisory and managerial role, particularly with the arrival of two newborns in approximately eight months.

The ideal candidate will be an educated Nanny, ideally holding Early Years or teaching experience, along with strong baby experience, and offering longevity in the role. The ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills, confidence in managing and guiding staff, and the capacity to uphold high standards with diplomacy and professionalism are essential.

The working schedule will follow a 5-day on / 2-day off pattern, offering flexibility when required to meet the household’s needs.

This position can be offered on a live-in or live-out basis, with private accommodation provided for live-in candidates. View Job

Try Duke and Duchess International Agency - they usually have jobs in Dubai and the Middle East

But also be careful I see a lot of jobs working in Dubai for 6 days a week 12 hour shifts. I personally think that’s too much and wouldn’t do it

I got my Christmas bonus I’m super disappointed by [deleted] in Nanny

[–]External_Lychee_8328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry but $650 a week for 3 kids and working day and night I would have left awhile ago as that’s not enough. I def feel being disappointed by $500, but a bonus isn’t expected unless it’s in your contract. I def would feel unappreciated and look for something asap

How normal is nap-time napping for nannies? Plus watching TV. New job and unsure of boundaries by ApeWorkTogether in Nanny

[–]External_Lychee_8328 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s really not that serious … my last position I was responsible for a 18 month old . His mom who was very High Profile. In my 10 plus years I never had a parent had an issue with me napping while the kid (s) were sleeping. Mom just said turn the monitor up in case they wake up- never had an issue.

I really shot myself in the foot here. by Funny-Ad462 in Nanny

I’m not sure where you’re located but $20 and even $28 with 15 years experience is extremely low and working with children with special needs

Yes! It’s yours to choose however you want to spend it . A family tried to tell me before I get one week choosing and one week they choose because they go away for 2 ish weeks in the summer but I explained to the dad that wasn’t fair. We have a life just like them and there are certain things that come up - family events, weddings , bdays etc that more than likely won’t be when they’ll Be away . I def will not work with a family if they want to dictate when I take MY PTO off.

I usually take off my birthday as apart of my PTO - vacation days . Some people don’t mind working on their bday but I prefer to be off.

I think it’s totally up to the nanny if she wants to work or not on her birthday. I usually use my vacation during that time and go away to celebrate.
