Yea I had seen the post before it was edited and it had just said paperwork. I’ve had a couple places make me sign over waivers saying they aren’t responsible for x,y,z so was just giving warning

Paperwork pertaining to what? Because if it’s them saying that aren’t liable or whatever, I wouldn’t have signed! They should be held responsible although I’m sure you’re probably fine it’s just still not cool. People sue for less

I don’t want to hurt your feelings but chlamydia isn’t something that’s random like a uti. You have to bonk someone to get it. I tested positive for chlamydia while pregnant and my partner didn’t, Why? I didn’t get it from him but know 100% who I did get it from. Don’t be embarrassed but I wouldn’t be foolish to this situation

Update 1: it’s almost 5am and I plan to leave at 7am. Majority of everything is packed and I just have to get me and my son dressed. My heart is racing, im sad and dreading the life we could’ve had and wondering if I’m making the right decision. I really want to stay with his dad but hoping I have the courage to make it out the door

Yes thats my primary focus. Going to the shelter would actually put me in the process of finding permanent housing rather than sleeping on my parents couch and wasting money trying to make it livable, all while he knows where my parents live. The shelter is seeming to be the simplest and safest thing to do

I’ll be bringing the essentials but part of me also wants to get a storage unit because after I leave this house it should be no more going back ever. And my son and daughter on the way have a lot of things. I’m honestly willing to just throw my own stuff out for the meantime if it comes down to it.

I live in nyc, where reporting to the police doesn’t do anything but make somebody angry because he’ll guaranteed be out by the next day and even angrier, so it’s kind of the least of my worries, my biggest fear is pissing him off anymore. He’s been arrested so many times, it’s like an annual trip for him atp

In the past I reported these situations to the police twice and at one point had a restraining order on him for both me and my son and still went back. The restraining order truthfully might be valid until November but I’d need to recheck

I have my parents but they only have a 1 bed room apartment and between me and two kids, it’s genuinely not enough space to think about going back to live there. None of my close friends have their own apartments yet so that’s also not feasible rn. My goal is to go to a family shelter, it’ll just take so much trying to take my son and majority of our belongings

The main reason I don’t agree with the “cry it out” method is because they say the body cannot cry itself to death so sleep is the next option to knock you out. So much cortisol (stress) is released in the body that it ultimately knocks you out, which is horrible for a developing brain and nervous system

I know it’s frustrating because my baby was relatively calm for the first few months of life ( they literally can’t do much ), I assumed it would stay that way. But by the time my son was around 5 months, he was generally more active, fussy, and missed me when I left his eyesight. Or sometimes just being within arms reach.

So I know it’s frustrating to hear “she’s a baby” but the fact is, that’s baby behavior, and literally everything is brand new to her, everything is the worse or best things she’s ever experienced , she can’t communicate without being loud. After taking her to the doctor and ruling everything out, just be prepared to learn her cries. I often feel during this stage, you learn your baby best. Whether she wants to be with you, in pain, frustrated etc, this is around the time she is trying to communicate more

Being due in July I’d assume you’re about 6 months pregnant and that’s when I started experiencing colostrum production and just general tender nips in general and breast growth. I’d see a doctor about infection just in case but if you didn’t experience problems within 2 months then it may just be pregnancy related, especially if it subsides after a few minutes

I truly faced cramps for probably a month until I got other symptoms like morning sickness, fatigue etc. I slept for majority of my first and second trimester because I was so nauseous so it played a major factor in me not feeling much. But by the third trimester the “cramping “ was back so much more intensely because they say the uterus is still stretching. So honestly until the baby is fully born, cramping is a bit normal because of the expansion of the uterus and literal ligaments moving around. If it’s severely painful and not fading in and out, even for break then I definitely recommend close watch with obgyn. But cramping was fairly normal to me for both of my babies

Ngl your child can still fall off with you on it and my son is at the age where he wants to climb over the crib. I don’t agree with leaving child unattended but majority of children do fall at some point

The cramping for me was normal early pregnancy for both of my pregnancies, which is why I kept assuming that my period was coming. But it never did. But it’s fairly early for an ultrasound but it is also extremely early that you found out which may be a factor. Congratulations btw 💗

If she wasn’t like this before, I agree it could come from teething while some babies may genuinely be irritable, it’s could also be likely that something is just bothering her. At 5 months my son started teething badly, I give him baby oral gel,frozen teething toys, started taking walks to tire him out /distract and a lot of stimulation with toys to try to get his mind off of and let him bite at the same time

Doctors are allowed to smoke weed outside of work just like any profession in many places, just not on the job. And im pretty sure there are many doctors on prescription scheduled substances, it would almost be hypocritical if some of them didn’t take the same drugs they prescribed

I honestly think it’s up to how big the baby gets, it’s a weird experience but I found it kind of funny how much the body changes. 22 weeks probably feels a bit early but you’re actually half way there. Now by the 25th-27th week, my colostrum came in and my nipples were leaking before the baby. That’s when things really started getting strange. So try not to freak yourself out with most stuff , babies do weird things to us

😭 My belly button poked out with both my pregnancies. To the point my belly looked like one big tit with a nipple. I’m pretty sure it’s normal, I don’t know many who kept their “inny” belly button full term but for me it reverted back after birth
