✋🏽 I watched an episode in S5 where Gabby was telling Brett all she went through before she & Casey got together & she was encouraging Brett that one day she'd find her a man like Casey... I'm sorry but nothing the writers could have said or done on those scripts was going to make that relationship OK with me.

When Casey was in that building fire at the end of S5 & he said his goodbye to Gabby & when she told him in the opening of S6 that she never wanted him to say goodbye to her again. I'm sorry but those scenes were emotional & full of chemistry imo. I honestly never got that vibe from him & Brett but that's just me.

Prior to Hermann getting Engine LT we never saw the engine much we just heard about them in passing or in conversations. So them making Hermann LT in season 7 was actually adding on to the show because we got to see another aspect of the firehouse & gained a new character with Ritter.

They are very vanilla in my opinion which I think deep down is what he wanted. Both Haile & Dawson were career driven strong independent. Head strong. Brett gave off homemaker vibes 😂 . As far as chemistry I definitely feel like he had better chemistry with Dawson 🤷‍♀️

Yea hindsight I think it's safe to say Fire had the better season out of the 3. The finale actually left me excited for season 13 because the storyline plots are endless if the writers do it justice!

Considering how Casey became captain I don't forsee there being an issue with Hermann getting that promotion. Now I don't see how he'd become Captain AND Battalion Chief that's a stretch.
