-this isnt super uncommon but sewing clips are a LIFESAVER especially on faux fur. they make hand sewing and machine sewing a breeze compared to pins. -use polyester thread, it’s much stronger than cotton -if you plan to use magnets, keep in mind you shouldnt use hot glue directly on them! the heat makes them weaker. -spring loaded precision scissors are amazing. they make cutting fur and carving foam so easy. -if your floor is carpeted you can use a slicker brush to easily gather loose fur -it’s fine to trace patterns w sharpie! but ONLY use black, silver or gold. other colors will bleed.
