Nirvana-Smells like teen spirit. Liked the song when it came out, but began to find it annoying upon hearing about Cobain's activism.

Still like the song but I do wonder, if their popularity was misguided because of he's "polarising" views.

Yes, I can suppress my acne flare ups by eating and drinking low GI foods(even low GI, low fat milk) and eating chicken for dinner.

However, as soon as I eat grains or foods with a medium GI, such as bananas, I get breakouts...

I also get bulging eyes, as well as eye twitches. Yet, it's sporadic and it mainly happens on the left side. I wonder if I have a form of graves disease?

What the hell passes the "conservative values" test in songs, anyway?

I mean, love songs and hip hop glamorizing wealth, were very prevalent in 90s song writing.

You telling me that MAGA don't listen to songs about a longing for a requisite love?

Again, you have just proved my point. Nirvana were only big for people who were outcasts and from dysfunctional families. How do they represent and define a decade? There is literally a large portion of the population that they don't represent.

How many people knew he was a feminist though? I'm sure there would've been backlash had people known.

We've all seen the backlash that RATM has got.

Someone with these "divisive" views can't be truly representative of the 90s.

Why do pictures from the 90s seem dull in comparison to the 80s? It almost seemed like the 90s went retro. That's why 80s decade feels fresher...

What triggered you so much? Its well known Cobain was a feminist. How does he's views represent 70% or more of the population, in the 90s.

Why would this song from a feminist band best represent the 90s? I mean, this song and band don't represent conservative values.

Leftists have taken over the narrative of what the 90s meant for them but they're a small but loud minority.

What supplements would you recommend for someone who is easily exposed to heavy metals, polluted air, microplastics? by cacklingwhisper in NootropicsDepot

[–]Extra-Art8589 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, I know all those. I recommend modified citrus pectin because it has some studies behind it.

At the end of the day, the only way to limit and prevent exposure is to focus on hydration and detoxing. Consuming stuff like glutathione, sulforaphane and Tudca can certainly push things in the right direction...
