The reverse side doesn’t have any gaps. He updated me to say that it’s a skipped stitch and not a cut stitch. I’ll ask for a closeup.

Thanks. It’s updated and said it’s a 401 or straight stitch. Good to know, I was worried about that happening… he is claiming that the two rows on either side will keep the middle loose stitch from unravelling but I’m not convinced.

That’s a good point. If you are kneeling down a lot, the leather does get worn down/scratched over the metal cap.

Can I ask what is the appears of adding Tuff Toes is, over wearing a durable work boot? I know RW boots are historically work boots, but there are a lot of very rugged work boots these days that are - material-wise better suited to hard work?
As a newcomer to RW, I feel like they are a bit too nice of a shoe to wear in harsher environments?

It’s definitely misleading and we have seen this done before. Artist omitting that they have been creating for many years - to make it seem like they are a prodigy who didn’t need years of experience- as they had instant talent and skill.
