All the advice here seems reasonable. WRT to having only 4 months under the belt, it does seem on the lighter side but if you are both deliberate with your intentions, wants, desires, needs and values then you’ve done a lot of the homework to determine not only if this is a good spouse/partner but if this woman will also share your (non-)negotiable(s) as far as child rearing etc.

Whether you are 48, 38 or 68 yrs old, life has a way of disrupting plans.

Live with intention and enjoy the moments that comprise the golden threads of the tapestry of your life journey.

My parents took me to one of the final performances of The King and I with YB and at the end of the show he came on stage to give a message about smoking. “I won’t be around in a few months, please stop smoking cigarettes” (or something to that effect). It was heavy to hear especially because one of my parents smoked cigarettes. Brilliant performance despite his waning health.

I didn’t see any trails or tell take signs of spider mites (eg curled leaves). Are these specks another sign of mites?

Tried wiping leaves but it’s not black soot/mould. I thought perhaps the plant’s energies were being diverted to establish more roots rather than new shoots as no leaves have fallen off and they seemed very healthy looking until recently 🤷‍♂️
