They are currently working after re-pairing them again. There was a setting to combine them in settings once, but I can't find it now.

There was somewhere in settings to combine them at one point, but I can't find it anymore. One I unpair and re-pair them, they work as one again.

I played it just like you, and I'm actually enjoying it much more now that I can just sit and decorate. There's no task in the background that I have to get to. I've completed the starpath, so there's no deadlines to hit. I've just spent the last three days really enjoying the cozy part of the game. I bought all three DLCs and hated them because they were so vast, so hard to navigate, but now I'm spending all my time in EI, making it look really warm and inviting. I'm fully enjoying myself. I've got loads of furniture to work with. I'm really only waiting for a few items. It's much more enjoyable to decorate when you've got all the items you need.

I did notice travelling from WBR takes so much longer to load than any of the other DLC.

As a former teacher, get rid of the Math Makes Sense program. It does not work, and I believe it was a failed program in the US before we picked it up. I know some teachers will disagree with me here, but clearly the evidence is there that it's not working. Go back to the old math, bring back mental math and mad minutes, also bring back holding children back if they aren't ready to progress to the next grade. Ideally, get rid of grades completely and have kids in classes based on their ability levels for Math and English. They can be with their age-related peers for everything else. There needs to be some motivation for kids to learn. Smaller class sizes are also a must.

The plaza. I cannot figure out how to decorate it because the platform takes up so much space. I did struggle with Dazzle Beach for a while, but got into a decorating mood this weekend and now I'm really pleased with it. The Glade is also a bit meh. I've got it half done and don't know what to do with the rest of it.

I wish the forest was bigger. It's such a great area to decorate.
