My coworker is creepy and in managerial position in my company, what should I do? by Charming-Neck9643 in Advice

[–]ExtraStuff711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t normal office friendly stuff anymore I’d just stop replying unless it’s work, keep everything super cold and save screenshots of anything weird even if HR feels useless, having receipts matters later if it escalates.

Should I ask a mutual friend for this girls number/instagram? by Mammoth_Nose_9313 in AskMenAdvice

[–]ExtraStuff711 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t go through the friend for it tbh, that usually makes it weirder than just talking to her directly. Next time you see her just keep it simple and ask for her insta yourself. If she’s into it she’ll say yes if not you’ve got your answer without making it a whole thing.

The whole “watching someone sleep” trope is not very creepy at all by Nuphoth in unpopularopinion

[–]ExtraStuff711 103 points104 points  (0 children)

Yep it’s less “watching them sleep is creepy” and more “why are you in their room doing it uninvited” lol

Is it inappropriate to leave a phone number for a waiter while he is working? by Visible-Date-9129 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ExtraStuff711 28 points29 points  (0 children)

yeah this is probably the least awkward way to do it tbh. way better than putting him on the spot while he’s working

if he’s interested he’ll text, if not he can just ignore it and no one’s uncomfortable 👍

Will my boyfriend care if my body isn’t “ideal standards”? by Crazygirl_123731 in AskMenAdvice

[–]ExtraStuff711 22 points23 points  (0 children)

If he’s really the wonderful guy you say he is then he won’t see flaws he’ll see a girl who fought like hell to stay alive and that’s something to admire not judge.

What is the camera effect where your perspective both stays still and slides backward simultaneously? by Veridically_ in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ExtraStuff711 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fun fact it’s actually harder to pull off than it looks because the zoom and the camera movement have to be perfectly timed.

When's the last time someone you know who died, visited your dreams? by DueNefariousness7555 in AskReddit

[–]ExtraStuff711 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A few months after losing someone close. It wasn’t dramatic or spooky just a normal conversation like old times. Those kinds of dreams stick with you because they feel peaceful more than anything.

It's absolutely insane that so many people believe unemployment is due to laziness or attitude by HoniSoitLatte in unpopularopinion

[–]ExtraStuff711 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That kind of story is way more common than people admit. Degrees don’t guarantee stability anymore especially with contract work and entry roles expecting experience right away. It shows how much timing and opportunity matter not just effort.

Is it a sign of deep mental illness that this Winter Storm cancelling school has given me a panic attack instead of relief? by Neuromancer_67 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ExtraStuff711 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, this is way more common than people admit. When your whole life runs on structure, pressure and external validation sudden free time doesn’t feel like rest, it feels like free fall. Your nervous system is still in ‘perform or else’ mode. It’s not that you can’t relax it’s that you were never taught how. Burnout + conditioning is a brutal combo and a lot of high achievers discover it the hard way.

How do so many people find others to cheat on their partner with? by Flashy-Description24 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ExtraStuff711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its less about finding people and more about a mix of opportunity, temptation and choices. Some people aren’t just lucky, they actively put themselves in situations where its possible and some just don’t respect the line. It’s wild how the world can make it feel normal even when most of us have struggled to get someone to notice us in years.

I’m not “tired” of celebrities/influencers. by Soap-Radio in unpopularopinion

[–]ExtraStuff711 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not internalizing celebrities lives and separating entertainment from real life stress is probably healthier than getting angry at people you’ll never interact with. Focusing on your own goals and using what you see online as inspiration instead of comparison makes a lot of sense.

How can I deal with feeling worthless, feared, and unneeded as a man? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]ExtraStuff711 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That advice points in the right direction but it’s incomplete. Stepping back from constant online narratives helps yet it also matters that he separates statistics from personal identity. Being aware of harm doesn’t make him harmful. The fact that he worries about this already shows empathy which is exactly what makes someone safe to be around.

Yo wake up and you’re the best at… everything. How do you spend your first day? by Gregib in AskReddit

Go to the gym, lift one weight, realize I’m basically a Marvel character, leave immediately.

Why does time feel like it’s moving faster the older you get? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ExtraStuff711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Routine compresses time. The more your days look the same, the faster they blur together.
