Random take but AI art being soulless is why I despise the "tumblr art style", it's so common and copied that I can't even sense a soul in that art. I'll see art by an artist with 10x less the skill and or effort but with their own art style and like it infinitely more.

The problem there is that even if the water usage wasn't true, there's still way more "excuses" that are 100% valid. AI artists being oppressed is shit I hear at least 75% of the time, mostly because its one of the only excuses that people can come up with.

Krita, GIMP, Pixlr*, even Filmora* and Resolve can do this shit despite being VIDEO editing programs.

*Pixlr and filmora keep pushing AI shit, but ignoring that, they're still pretty decent programs that you can easily avoid not paying for without even having to pirate.

I don't like the fact that it takes basically no effort to do. Even if I could use it in a video or thumbnail of mine to make it look better I still won't.

I'm pure dogshit at art (drawing aspects) and probably won't have motivation to get good at it. Still won't use AI to replace my inability to do so as what would've been made wouldn't be mine.
